Thiep Nhan Ai Project

Project “Thiep Nhan Ai” is supported by Niem Tin Group sine April 2009. The main
subjects of this project are young people with disability because of Agent Orange (from
eight to twenty years old), orphans in the villages or orphanages. Members of Niem
Tin Group teach them how to make handmade things like cards, paper flowers, stuffed
animals, key chains, etc in their free time. These actions not only train them to be more
patient and detailed in work, but also make some money for their hard life.

The products are made will be sold by Niem Tin Group. Now, Niem Tin Group has co- operated with some restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, supermarkets, book stores. It also has a website www.thiepnhanai.com to advertising and selling.

In the future, when the products are recognized by customers, will be a great encouragement for children with disabilities and orphans. Thus, they realize they have
ability to live, work, and dedicate for social like the others ordinary people. In addition, it also brings them a full time job, and makes them live by themselves.

On September 2009, Thiep Nhan Ai Project organized its first step in The Vietnam Friendship Village which is conceived of as a residence for children suffering from the impact of Agent Orange.After one year of making-cards instructing, from the base of 30 children who were interested, the project has instructed successfully 20 skillful ones on October, 2011.

On july 2010, the project expanded its activities to Ha Cau Orphanage Center with 10 skilled children (October 2010) out of 20 interested ones at the beginning.
