While the player will be tasked with building an army to fight off a demon invasion regardless of their chosen backstory, this and other decisions will greatly influence how the story unfolds and how the world is shaped around the player. After a frantic intro in which the player creates their character before narrowly escaping a dragon attack, the player is given access to a huge, breathtaking open-world. With over 250 quests to complete, gamers can roleplay as just bout anyone or anything; a hunter who communes with wild animals and crafts potent potions and poisons, a necromancer who turns invisible and summons the dead to fight for them, or whatever might fall in-between. The top ten mods for Skyrim’s caves and dungeons greatly improve the experience of those locations, as well.
