While Vanderpump Rules has been off the air for the past year because of COVID-19, news that the series will begin production again soon has fans excited once again. However, the series is set to be quite different than before as many of the main cast members were fired after season eight. But, in looking back at the series so far, what makes it so iconic is all of the different romantic relationships including the ones that didn’t last.

While some of the couples have been together since the beginning, other characters have had many different relationships, and some of these are messier than others. Here is a ranking of the best couples we’ve seen on the show so far.

10 Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder

While most of Jax’s relationships haven’t been the “best” or even good by any means, they are so memorable they had to be included on this list.

Jax and Stassi had one of the most intense relationships in the series, even if it didn’t last very long. Jax cheated on Stassi and was an awful boyfriend, but, strangely, they sort of worked. They both are rather difficult people to live with, and Stassi was one of the few people who could get Jax to listen to them.

9 Scheana and Mike Shay

When these two were first shown together in the series, they seemed like a rather cute match. Mike was rather adoring of Scheana, and he seemed to balance her more outgoing and dramatic personality well.

However, things devolved rather quickly after they got married. Scheana was rather selfish and not understanding of Shay’s struggles, and Shay seemed to start to resent her over time as well.

8 James Kennedy and Logan

While this couple was never confirmed to actually be together in a romantic way, they did seem to possibly have an interest in one another on the show. Many fans were hoping for this relationship to happen purely because there really haven’t been that many LGBTQ+ cast members, and no focus on any queer relationships so far despite being filmed in West Hollywood.

However, things got messy when Logan seemed more interested in James than James was in him, and there seemed to be a lot of jealousy and issues when Raquel entered the picture. Now, it doesn’t even seem like the two men are even friends.

7 Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright

Including Jax and Brittany on the list is somewhat controversial because this couple has had so many awful moments. Jax has cheated on Brittany and shamed her for the way she looks, and overall just not treated her very well in the past.

However, they are now exuding an image that they have worked their issues out in marital bliss and are enjoying being new parents. However, since they are no longer cast members, fans may never know how things are really going now.

6 Stassi Shcroeder and Beau Clark

As far as what we’ve seen on the show between these two, their relationship is pretty good by Vanderpump Rules standards. While they have had their struggles, Beau has been a much better match for Stassi than the other men she’s dated.

They are also now married and had their daughter, Hartford, earlier this year. However, it’s hard to forget all of the controversial things Stassi has done including calling the police on Faith Stowers.

5 James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss

James and Raquel have definitely had their issues, and the way James at times treated Raquel shouldn’t be minimized. He did struggle to let go of his crush on Lala for a long time, and his drinking at times made him lash out at Raquel.

However, they seem to be doing much better now. James seems to be doing much better on a personal level, and they seem to be rather happy together. Their relationship will likely be more explored in the upcoming season and how they are doing will be made clearer.

4 Lala Kent and Randall Emmett

Lala and Randall had a rather confusing beginning on the series because Lala couldn’t’ even say out loud who her “man” was. However, they have actually been together for many years now, and they welcomed their first child together, Ocean, earlier this year.

They do seem to have some drama in their relationship but compared to some couples on the show, they seem to do okay.

3 Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz

Long-term fans of the show might be a bit confused about why Tom and Katie are on this list because their relationship has truly been filled with a great deal of drama.

They have both treated each other poorly at various times, but, surprisingly, they seem to be doing well. They have been married since 2016, even if Tom didn’t file the marriage license correctly. And, they both seem rather happy on their social media.

2 Lisa and Ken Vanderpump

Lisa and Ken aren’t universally liked by fans of the series, but they are considered one of the best couples on the show given their longevity.

They have been married for decades and have two children together. While there are issues that people have with Lisa as well as their business deals, there’s no denying that these two have made it work more than most people.

1 Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval

Ariana and Tom aren’t a perfect couple by any means, they are the best from the series. They’ve had issues like any couple does, but they are actually able to work through it together.

They seem to genuinely love one another and are willing to put in the effort to make their relationship last. They try to support one another, and they also have one of the least sexist and most equal relationships on the show.
