NBC’s hit procedural primetime drama, Chicago P.D., premiered on the network in 2014 as a mid-season replacement. In February of 2020, it was announced that the series, created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead, had been picked up for an eighth, ninth, and tenth season.
The series follows the Intelligence Unit of the 21st district of the Chicago Police Department. Every episode brings a new crime for the detectives to solve and gives viewers more information on the officers solving the crimes.
