Harvey Keitel has appeared in Wes Anderson’s last three movies. He played Commander Pierce in Moonrise Kingdom, Ludvig in The Grand Budapest Hotel, and the voice of Gondo in Isle of Dogs.

Ever since she played Social Services in Moonrise Kingdom, Tilda Swinton has appeared in every subsequent Wes Anderson film, including the upcoming The French Dispatch.

Her top-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes is Derek Jarman’s Blue. Before he died from AIDS-related causes, Jarman decided to make one last movie. He’d started going blind and close to the film’s release, all he could see were shades of blue. In that spirit, the movie is a single shot of saturated blue with voiceover narration by Jarman and a handful of his closest collaborators — including Tilda Swinton — describing his life.

2 Bill Murray – Ghostbusters (97%)

Bill Murray has appeared in every single Wes Anderson movie since his sophomore effort Rushmore. Anderson and Owen Wilson had written the role of Herman Blume with Murray in mind, but didn’t expect him to take the part. To their surprise, Murray jumped at the opportunity to work with Anderson and has since seized that opportunity eight more times.

Owen Wilson has been Wes Anderson’s closest collaborator since the very beginning. He starred alongside his brothers in Anderson’s low-budget debut Bottle Rocket, and also co-wrote its script (as well as the scripts for Anderson’s next two movies).

As Anderson honed his visual style throughout the 2000s, Wilson became one of the biggest comedy stars in the world, playing lead roles in such “Frat Pack” hits as Zoolander and Wedding Crashers.
