The trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness revealed that Scarlet Witch will be returning for the movie. Wanda has gone through a lot of changes in the MCU as of late, most of them stemming from the events of Wandavision. Given the magnitude of the threat in Multiverse of Madness, it’s probably good that Strange has the help of someone capable of warping reality itself.

Scarlet Witch first appeared in X-Men #4 in 1964, so she has a long and storied history in the Marvel Universe. Most of her tales involve the Avengers, as she was with the team for a long time. There is plenty of reading to do before Multiverse of Madness comes out.

This made things right between Wanda and the mutant world at last.

Unfortunately, Wanda had been brainwashed by Doctor Doom to become his bride.

The Young Avengers, the Avengers, and even the X-Men would come together to help free Wanda from Doom’s thrall. The adventure would see the return of Ant-Man and a tragic death among the Young Avengers.

1 Avengers: Nights Of Wundagore Is A Scarlet Witch Classic
