1000Lb Sisters Why Tammy Slaton Accused Amy Of Animal Abuse

Before they starred on 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy and Amy Slaton had their fair share of controversy, including scandal surrounding accusations that Tammy participated in animal abuse. This damaging rumor was actually started by Tammy herself. 1000-lb Sisters fans are familiar with the Slaton sisters’ dog, Little Bit, but Amy had unfortunate interactions with dogs before she owned the petite puppy. From Amy’s dangerous run-in with a German Shepherd to Tammy sharing details of her sister’s alleged animal abuse, here’s everything there is to know about Amy’s shocking accusations.

Amy and Tammy are no strangers to scandal, and both have found themselves in hot water over the years. Although the pair of Slaton sisters have cultivated dedicated fanbases in their past several years as entertainers, Amy and Tammy have made questionable decisions. On top of getting criticized for treating her sister poorly on 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy was recently called out for dating married man, Jerry Sykes. Even though she comes off as the more sympathetic sister, Amy’s been at the center of controversy as well. Some of Amy’s most shocking scandals include the time when she went to jail after stealing from a Walmart and an incident where she urged fans to donate to a GoFundMe for Tammy’s funeral (which, of course, never took place). One of Amy’s most disturbing alleged misdeeds was exposed by the reality star’s costar, Tammy.

One of the most popular puppies in reality television is Amy’s dog, Little Bit. According to a now-deleted video of Tammy’s (via Bad Baker at YouTube), which was reposted, Little Bit was in quite a bit of danger on Amy’s birthday in 2019. In the video, Tammy explained that she, Amy, and Amy’s husband Michael went to an arcade for Amy’s July 27 birthday. The sisters decided to bring along their beloved dog, but they could only take him so far. Tammy. whose weight loss plan isn’t successful lately, broke down the drama. explaining that while the trio was having fun in the arcade, she felt “bad for Little Bit because she sat out in a hot car.” Tammy shared that she was thoughtful enough to give Little Bit some ice water, but she didn’t believe that Amy would have given the puppy anything to drink during its time in the car.

As if Tammy’s anecdote from Amy’s birthday wasn’t enough to aggravate 1000-lb Sisters fans, another story of Amy’s possible animal abuse surfaced in the wake of the Little Bit scandal. Back in 2016, Amy owned a German Shepherd that she left inside a camper on another hot summer’s day. In a My Thots YouTube video that archived Amy’s response to the animal abuse allegations, the reality star explained that the camper she left her dog in was air-conditioned. New mother Amy Slaton also stated, “There was fans. He had cold water to drink. The camper was freezing.” Unfortunately, none of the amenities that Amy claims to have provided for her dog prevented the German Shepherd from acting out and biting the 1000-lb Sisters star when Amy returned to him. Many fans believe that the dog acted because he was left in a dangerous environment.

Amy has made some questionable decisions on 1000-lb Sisters, and the way she’s been accused of treating her dogs is extremely disturbing. From leaving Little Bit in the car without water to getting bitten by her German Shepherd after leaving it in her camper, Amy needs to take better care of her pets. Hopefully, Amy will be held more accountable in terms of her responsibilities as a dog owner on 1000-lb Sisters.
