While Harry mostly stays at Hogwarts for most films until going on the run during Deathly Hallows, the MCU does not restrain itself regarding location. Marvel movies have taken place all over the universe, from New York City to Asgard to Wakanda and into outer space.

Harry’s journey had a specific ending that fans knew was coming. The showdown with Voldemort was what everyone was waiting for. After years of close calls, going on the run, and destroying the last Horcruxes, Harry finally defeated Voldemort.

The movie’s final minutes tie up loose ends, explaining that Harry was the Elder Wand’s true owner after disarming Draco. Then, it jumps to 19 years in the future, proving that Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny all got happy futures. Although it’s not universally loved, there is a satisfaction to closing the final chapter.

3 MCU: Discusses The Effects Of The Avengers

One of Captain America: Civil War’s biggest conflicts is also one of its most interesting conversations. The Avengers help and save people, and they do it well. Unfortunately, there is usually a lot of collateral damage. In Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Tony Stark and Hulk battle it out on the street, taking out numerous buildings and hurting many civilians as they fight.

Sokovia became airborne during their battle with Ultron. The Sokovia Accords pinned Tony Stark against Steve Rogers when discussing if the Avengers needed to be put in check. These more realistic dramas help really involve the audience.

2 Harry Potter: Fantasy World

Harry Potter’s fantasy world is incredibly well-crafted. Although the novels go into more detail, the movies still needed to do a solid job of portraying the wizarding world’s highs and lows.

The world-building in the Harry Potter films showed an environment with years of history that let the wizarding world feel like a real place. The franchise did such a good job that fans actually wanted to visit Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and Diagon Alley.

1 MCU: Has The Ability To Continue For Years

Some of the original Avengers may be gone, but the MCU has the ability to continue for a long time. Constantly adding new characters, the MCU has explored New York City, Wakanda, Asgard, and much more. With so many outlets and characters to take from the Marvel comics, the MCU has enough content to go for as long as it wants.

Many characters have been newly added to the franchise and have only appeared in a few movies, meaning there is a chance to expand their characters and stories beyond what they have already done. Disney+ has already started that with Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Solider.
