90 Day Fiancé Cast Members With Musical Careers

Most 90 Day Fiancé celebs try their hand at many careers aside from reality TV, such as becoming Instagram influencers, but it’s time to talk about the stars who are into making music. Several people who have been featured in the franchise made music prior to being on the shows. There are also 90 Day Fiancé cast members who were not initially introduced to fans as musicians, but pursued music as side hobbies, during or after the show.

A lot of musical cast members who were already recording tunes before reality fame changed their lives don’t come from the USA. Music, along with modeling, is one of the most desirable careers for current franchise stars and alums from all over the world. However, American citizens are also frequently singing, rapping, or playing instruments, when they’re not bringing the drama onscreen.

Although many 90 Day Fiancé stars make music, these familiar faces create within a diverse array of musical genres. Some cast members are rappers, while others make folk music. Naturally, 90DF viewers who listen to their songs have opinions about who is (or isn’t) talented. Read on to discover all of the 90 Day Fiancé cast members who have showcased their genuine passion for music.

Biniyam Shibre

Fans learned that Nigerian local Biniyam Shibre was a musician and dancer almost immediately after meeting him in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2. Biniyam, who performs under the name “Baby Cool,” has a moderately popular song on YouTube, “Dancey Dancey.” According to the credits displayed at the end of the song, the lyrics were co-written by his partner Ariela Weinberg from New Jersey.

River Everett

Fans were first introduced to Chantel Jimeno’s brother River Everett on 90 Day Fiancé but didn’t find out very much about him throughout the season (except for the fact that he really didn’t approve of his sister’s relationship with Pedro Jimeno). Shortly after the end of the second season of the family’s spin-off show The Family Chantel, River started releasing R&B music. The reality TV star creates music under the name, “Riverknight.”

Yamir Castillo

Nicaraguan man Yamir Castillo was already an established musician prior to appearing on the show. Yamir appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 2 with Chelsea Macek from Galesburg, Illinois. Chelsea met the pop star when she was living in Nicaragua and volunteering with the Peace Corps. When the two met, Yamir was part of the boy band Myla Vox. After Yamir and Chelsea got married, she even appeared in one of his music videos, for his song, “Party Love.” The two are no longer married.

Tarik Myers

90 Day Fiancé viewers were first introduced to Virginia Beach local Tarik Myers on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2. Viewers discovered Tarik’s rap career fairly early on since he played love interest Hazel Cagalitan a song he had written for her while proposing on the beach. Several months after the show aired, Tarik released a music video for another song about Hazel, “God Bliss Woman.” One fact that may surprise viewers is that the video was actually directed by Tarik and Hazel’s fellow season 2 cast member, Ricky Reyes. Tarik still releases music under the name, “Dirt Dayoh.”

Usman “Sojaboy” Umar

Usman “Sojaboy” Usmar from Nigeria is perhaps one of the franchise’s most well-known musicians, and his tunes are actually quite famous among 90 Day Fiancé fans. Usman appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 alongside “Babygirl” Lisa Hamme. His song “I Love You” is dedicated to Lisa. The Nigerian musician is set to appear in Before the 90 Days season 5 with a new love interest, so fans can likely expect to hear more music from Lisa’s ex Sojaboy in the future.

Brittany Banks

Brittany Banks introduced herself as a rapper when she made her debut in The Other Way season 2. She records music under the name “The Boss Brittany,” but some of her songs are difficult to find on the Internet. Since her appearance on the show, Brittany has also become a social media influencer.

Evelyn Cormier

Evelyn Cormier from 90 Day Fiancé season 5 met her husband David Vázquez Zermeño because of her career as a musician. The New Hampshire resident was a singer and making music with her family band when the Grenada, Spain local found her music and began to send her messages about it on social media. Evelyn was featured on American Idol season 17. It is not clear if Evelyn and David are still together, but Evelyn is now making music with fellow musician Jacob Snider under the name “Moxy Blossom.”

Blake Abelard

Fans were introduced to Blake Abelard on 90 Day Fiancé season 7, as a rapper who lives in Los Angeles. Blake performs under the name “Hollow Brooks,” and has several songs on YouTube. He has also featured in several other rappers’ songs. Blake’s signature when performing is wearing a ski mask over his face. This, paired with his tendency to drink alcohol with his friends, seemed to shock his now-wife Jasmin Lahtinen Abelard on the show. In turn, fans are suprised that the Finnish woman and the rapper are still married.

Darcey & Stacey Silva

In addition to running their own clothing line House of Eleven and starring in their own spin-off show, Darcey and Stacey Silva have also tried their hand at music. They published one song on YouTube, under “The Silva Twins” moniker, but Darcey has a few more songs they created together on her YouTube channel. The twin team also recently performed their new song, “Doing It Big,” on 90 Day Bares All.

Victor McLean

The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 newcomer Victor McLean is allegedly also a musician. The Providencia local has reportedly released some music under alternate names when he isn’t busy bartending. Victor and his love interest Ellie Rose from Seattle, Washington are very private on social media, and it’s fairly difficult to find anything about the couple on the Internet. Fans haven’t uncovered any of Victor’s music yet, but it’s only a matter of time before some super sleuths are able to find it. 90 Day Fiancé viewers love learning about the musical efforts of franchise stars and often support the most talented celebs.
