One of the most challenging Visionary Leads to complete in Deathloop is the “Devouring of The Lambs.” In the Visionary Lead, Deathloop players are tasked with infiltrating the Masquerade party held in Updaam at night to identify Aleksis.
While this may sound like an easy objective, it proves to be challenging when players arrive at the party and realize that most guests are wearing the same mask. With no clues as to Aleksis’ appearance, players must find ways to get Aleksis to reveal himself.
How To Identify Aleksis
The easiest method to identify Aleksis is by interacting with several objects in his private quarters. From the entrance to the masquerade, head to the back of the property. Players will notice a large courtyard with a red statue and a large tower overlooking the area.
Proceed to the tower and enter the doorway found on the side. Head down the staircase before reaching a room that looks like an attic.
Behind the cabinets, players will find an additional staircase that leads down to the main house. Once players are in the main house, go down the long corridor with the red carpet. No enemies are patrolling this area, so players will not have to worry about being spotted.
After reaching the end of the corridor, proceed through the doorway next to Deathloop’s gumball machines. Players will find a large room with a viewing area overlooking the second floor.
Head through the white doorway found in the corner of the room to access Aleksis’ bathroom. Inside the bathroom, players will find an important document and tape-recorder that must be interacted with to progress the visionary lead.
Next to the documents, players will notice a small synthesizer playing a tune on a loop. From the documents, players will realize that this tune is what Aleksis considers to be his greatest musical achievement.
On the synthesizer, players will notice four settings; Drums, Base, Rythm, and Solo. Memorize the four numbers that the components are set to.
Exit the bathroom and head to the viewing area overlooking the 2nd floor. Use Colt’s phase ability to teleport to the top of the chandelier. If players don’t have the phase ability, they can jump onto it, but be mindful of the guard nearby.
From the chandelier, players will notice an opening to a room marked “The Sound Booth.” Phase into the room from the chandelier.
Inside the room, players will find a similar-looking synthesizer that is connected to the dance party below. Replicate the numbers from the synthesizer in Aleksis’ bathroom and wait nearby.
Aleksis will make his way to the dancefloor and begin dancing to his music. At this point, players are free to kill Aleksis by any method to complete the visionary lead.
How To Unlock Alpha Burger Trophy
If players want to unlock the “Alpha Burger” trophy, wait until Aleksis speaks at the open mic stage. The open mic hall is easily accessed via the roof near the entrance to the Masquerade.
After entering the room, carefully proceed to the hidden platform to the left of the stage. On the platform, players will find a button that opens a trap door on the stage.
Players can identify Aleksis when he takes the stage by the two golden SMG’s on his hips. His dialogue on stage also revolves around raising the prices of prescription medication that his company bought the rights to.
After sending Aleksis to the meat grinder players can now extract from Updaam and start their next loop cycle.
Deathloop is available now on PS5 and PC.
