Agents Of SHIELD: Which Inhuman Ability Would You Have Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

On Agents of SHIELD, Inhumans’ powers are tailor-made to the person receiving them, making it easy to look at which zodiac should have which ability.

In the second season of Marvel television series Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., the audience is introduced to a race of comic book beings known as the Inhumans. The descendants of ancient humans who were given abilities thanks to an infusion of Kree blood and technology, many in the series didn’t know they had Inhuman ancestry until they went through Terrigenesis.

Following a cocoon-like state, Inhumans would emerge with superpowers that they had to learn how to control. While Lincoln Campbell reveals in season 3 that these powers filled an evolutionary need in the Inhuman community, it’s also pretty clear that a lot of the time, those powers are also very reflective of the person who gains them. The personalities of certain zodiac signs can tell us a lot about what kind of Inhuman power someone might have.

12 Aries: Energy Manipulation

Aries are the hotheads of the zodiac; the most impulsive and the most likely to jump to a conclusion quickly. There’s nothing wrong with that since they also tend to be adventurous and are quick to go into action mode.

That attitude is perfect for energy manipulation like Kora’s in the final season. All that impulsivity and willingness to do courage deeds would manifest itself quite easily into energy blasts and redirection.

11 Taurus: Metal Manipulation

One of the most grounded members of the zodiac is the Taurus. They appreciate the finer things, but they also tend to be one of the most dependable of signs. Because of their steadfast approach to life, they’d have a particular affinity for metal.

Joey, introduced in the third season, is a good example of what an Inhuman can do with the ability to manipulate metallic elements. Whether it’s melting down solid composites or reshaping pieces into something beautiful, a Taurus would certainly be in their element.

10 Gemini: Duplication

There are many sides to a Gemini, even though they’re known as “the twins.” With Geminis being able to adapt themselves to any situation or fit in with any group, being able to actually become multiple people would be a welcome ability.

Alisha, one of the inhabitants of Afterlife in the show’s second season, is able to duplicate herself into clones so that she can accomplish many tasks at one. A Gemini would love to have that skill.

9 Cancer: Precognition

Cancers are deeply feeling people and very intuitive. They make and keep connections very quickly. There’s a reason Cancers have so many friends. A power like precognition would only aid in their connection to the people around them.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actually explores several types of precognition. Robin’s is more tied to how she experiences time, while her father’s is death-specific. Raina, however, has a more vague precognitive ability. She’s able to dream glimpses of the future without seeing the entire story. Any version of this ability would work in favor of a Cancer.

8 Leo: Telekinesis

Anyone who has a Leo in their life knows that they are fun and dynamic. They love to party and they love it when all eyes are on them. That’s why a flashier Inhuman ability — not one that takes place entirely in their minds — is right up their alley.

Telekinesis would be a great party trick for a Leo. They could use it just as much to entertain their friends as they could for more mundane activities, like moving their furniture. It would also be pretty handy in a fight, too, as Giyera demonstrates in season 4.

7 Virgo: Telepathy

Virgos have a system in place for every aspect of their lives; they are detail-oriented planners. Usually, the most organized person in a group is the Virgo. Most Virgos hate surprises as a result of all of these other traits. That’s why they’d need an Inhuman ability that helps eliminate the unexpected.

Telepathy does just that. The ability to read people’s minds is an incredibly invasive one, but Virgos would use the power responsibly. Like Ben in the Inhuman arena controlled by Kasius, Virgos could use the ability to help others as much as they help themselves.

6 Libra: Super Speed

Libras want the world to be a place of fairness. They believe in balance, whether that’s making sure someone in power doesn’t have too much of it, or everyone gets the same amount of food at the dinner table. Libras also, however, are incredibly diplomatic, never wanting to create conflict despite the staunchness of their beliefs.

That’s exactly why an ability like super speed is perfect for them. Not only does it allow them to escape uncomfortable situations quickly, but it would also allow them to get in and out of places undetected, using their power to bring about some of that fair play. That’s why Elena joins S.H.I.E.L.D. with her power, after all.

5 Scorpio: Intangibility

Scorpios keep an air of mystery around them. They love to solve puzzles, but they don’t like to let people get too close. Keeping their emotions in check can make them seem outwardly cold, but that’s only because Scorpios don’t want to get hurt.

Intangibility, the power to move through solid objects, is the perfect ability. Abby uses it in the Inhuman arena to secure her family a future. The average Scorpio would use it to deflect from the feelings they want to keep hidden, or to walk right through their own obstacles.

4 Sagittarius: Teleportation

Sagittarians are known for their love of learning and their wanderlust. They long to learn about anything and everything, no matter where their pursuit of knowledge takes them. With this Inhuman ability, it could take them anywhere.

Teleportation means never having to figure out bus/train/plane/boat schedules again. It also means if someone’s in trouble and needs their help, a Sagittarius can be there in an instant.

3 Capricorn: Life Force Absorption

Capricorns are ambitious, hard-working, and have a deep need to remain in control for the sake of themselves and their responsibilities. They need something that can help them achieve their goals by giving them a little more time — and plenty of control over themselves.

Jiaying’s ability to absorb the life force of others does that. It can be used for nefarious purposes, but it can also be used judiciously and responsibly to help a Capricorn live a long and productive life.

2 Aquarius: Vibration Manipulation

The Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac. And someone who likes to go their own way needs an ability that allows them a lot of creative freedom. Daisy’s ability to “quake” her environment offers that.

The ability can be destructive, as it can even change the landscape of a mountain. But it can also provide safety in pushing people or falling debris away. Quaking also means the (limited) ability to fly.

1 Pisces: Sensory Manipulation

Pisces are creative and compassionate people. Along with Cancer, they are one of the most empathic signs. Because of how deeply Pisces feel, it makes perfect sense that their Inhuman ability would be an extension of that.

Sensory Manipulation is demonstrated in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. by a young girl named Katya. She can control every aspect of what another person feels, sees, hears, etc. She can also take what they feel for herself. While Katya uses her ability darkly, controlling S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and causing numerous deaths before Agent May stops her, the ability could be used to help people get in touch with the world around them instead.
