A beautiful piece of artwork has combined all of The Legend of Zelda games into one piece, as a celebration of the series’ 35th anniversary. The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most beloved first-party franchises and this year marks 35 years since the Kingdom of Hyrule and its plucky tunic-clad hero first graced gaming consoles across the globe.

Many fans of The Legend of Zelda series have been hoping for more news on the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild, 2017’s Game of the Year, as part of Nintendo’s celebrations this year. Sadly though, at Nintendo’s most recent Direct, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma shared that there is currently no news on its development other than that it is “proceeding smoothly.” Nintendo has however announced a new expansion pack for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, as well as a Switch remaster of 2011’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as part of its anniversary celebrations.

While the most recent The Legend of Zelda news (or lack of it) was met with a lukewarm response from fans of the series, that has not stopped artists from creating their own dedications to mark the 35th anniversary of Link, Gannon, and Princess Zelda. One such artist, known as dreamTech (AKA Human for Scale as shared by MarcusHyrule on Reddit), has created an incredible landscape that incorporates all of the current The Legend of Zelda games onto one canvas. From the floating settlement of Skyward Sword’s Skyloft to Wind Waker’s the King of Red Lions bobbing peacefully in the open waters, the attention to detail is astounding. There is even a Cucco, easily the hardiest foe that Link has ever encountered in his 35 years of saving Hyrule, included in the elaborate scene.

This is not the only The Legend of Zelda fan-made creation to come out of 2021. Recently, one romantic artist made their Valentine a beautiful Silent Princess terrarium inspired by Breath of the Wild. This one-of-a-kind gift, along with other fan-made creations, is a testament to how cherished Nintendo’s series is, even over a quarter of a century since its debut on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

While there is no current news on the next game in The Legend of Zelda series, Nintendo has promised more information before the end of the year. There are still rumors of a Phantom Hourglass remaster coming to the Nintendo Switch, but fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see if these bear any fruit in the months to come.
