Attack on Titans Eren vs AntMan Which Giant Would Win in a Fight

In the manga turned anime world of Attack on Titan, Eren Yeager holds the power to transform into a towering monstrosity known as the Attack Titan, and in Marvel Comics, Ant-Man possesses the ability to grow in size to match, so who would win in a winner take all battle of gigantic proportions? One thing’s for certain, a giant kaiju battle such as this can’t end well for the people on the ground.

A matchup that the nerd community would undoubtedly love to see given the transformative nature of both characters, this duel might initially seem like it would end in a stale-mate based on the similar properties of each man’s enormous alter egos alone. But before the opening bell dings and a winner can be declared in this hypothetical fight, the pros and cons of each fighter will need to be measured as well as their abilities while in kaiju form, so let’s get to it!

Set against the backdrop of a world where one-track-minded, human-eating behemoths known as Titans wander the countryside, Eren Yeager’s ability to turn into a Titan is a technique that has benefitted him many times over in the Attack on Titan manga and show. Allowing him to increase not only his size but his power to heights unheard of in the Attack on Titan universe, Eren immediately becomes more nimble, versatile, and effective as a brawler when transformed, and packs a hardened punch that has broken even the fabled Armored Titan’s protective plating, to say nothing about his MMA-like grappling abilities seen while on the field of battle.

Not to be outdone, Ant-Man’s technologically-linked ability to change his size has also allowed him to exponentially increase his power and damage output to levels that rival even the strongest players in Marvel Comics. Shown off in the MCU, Scott Lang’s version of a giant Ant-Man easily squashes those he sets his sights on, while Hank Pym’s version of Giant-Man — an extension of his Ant-Man persona — has stood toe-to-toe with the overpowering evil that is Ultron at points, allowing Ant-Man to help the heroes of Earth squeak out a win when needed.

But there can only be one winner as the dust settles, and although the heroic Ant-Man might seem like he could come out on top, Eren’s Titan form is simply too powerful to entertain the thought of losing. Already at an advantage as Eren’s more shady tendencies allow him to take his enemies down with brutal abandon, Ant-Man isn’t really equipped to do much in his giant form other than step on things and swing a giant fist around. Slower in his towering stature compared to when he’s at “normal” height, Ant-Man can usually overwhelm his opponents with his might, but since Eren’s power, speed and ruthlessness are all amplified ten-fold while in his Attack Titan form, the viciousness in which he’s fought other Titans before would be on full display, especially when pitted against a hero whose tendency of not going for the kill-shot would hinder him in a battle that would undoubtedly be to the death.

So although Ant-Man might have made a splash in the MCU as a giant formidable ally to the Avengers, and his Giant-Man alter ego has helped Marvel’s comic heroes more times than he can count, there’s no chance Ant-Man would beat Eren in his Attack Titan form. Eren Yeager is a brutally efficient character in and out of Titan form, so if a superhero like Ant-Man could ever go toe-to-giant-toe with him, the Titan would reign supreme.
