Avengers: Infinity War Blu-ray details may have been revealed, including information about the deleted scenes fans should look out for. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the Marvel juggernaut saw Earth’s Mightiest Heroes teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and several other independently operating heroes in the franchise as they gallantly fought the Mad Titan Thanos. Built on 10 years of MCU storytelling, it quickly became clear that it was going to be a massive hit, and has since become the fastest film to earn $1 billion, and only the fourth movie to pocket $2 billion.

More than two months since Marvel Studios latest, people remain engrossed with Infinity War, not only because it sets up next year’s still-untitled Avengers 4 but because it is chock full of fun references and connections to previous MCU films adding to its re-watchability. Fortunately, people will soon be able to enjoy it in the comfort of their home with a rumored home release date of August 14. But before it actually hits shelves, information about what to expect from the Blu-ray may have been revealed.

Anton Volkov revealed on Twitter some bonus features that people can look forward to on Infinity War’s Blu-ray, which he translated from a German site where they were leaked. The list includes several featurettes, with separate ones dissecting the battle in Wakanda and on Titan. There’s also one for the brand new team-ups in the film, which would presumably focus on how the Russos decided on the mini groups fans saw in the film. However, arguably the biggest takeaway from the intel are the three deleted scenes and their translated titles. Check out the breakdown below:

The deleted scenes’ titles pretty much give away what the each sequences includes. The first one, titled “Happy Has A Perspective” (1:24), would’ve seen Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan in the movie. Despite not making the Infinity War final cut, the pioneering MCU director has revealed that he’ll be in Avengers 4. The second deleted scene is called “Hunt for the Mind Stone” (1:25) and will more likely center on Vision and Wanda, or perhaps the Black Order members Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive who were sent to Earth for that specific Infinity Stone. The last one is titled “The Guardians Find Their Groove” (3:20), which will likely focus on catching people up on the cosmic heroes’ status considering that it’s been a few years since the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

There seems to be nothing of importance in them that could’ve drastically changed Avengers: Infinity War if included in the final cut. Nonetheless, fans would undoubtedly still be thrilled to see them. Interestingly however, the deleted scenes don’t include the 30-minute Thanos backstory that was previously reported to be part of the movie’s home release. As it turns out, the whole bit might have been cut during the development of the script, thus, nothing of it was filmed.

Accidental movie fan who is perpetually curious, Ana rekindled her love for writing several years back and married it with everything pop culture. The result is a passionate young writer who could ramble (and of course, pen) about films and series multiple hours a day. She has a soft spot for The Lion King, old songs, and home design; is currently obsessed with old sitcoms (The Golden Girls!); and won’t dare watch any horror films although she’s (ironically) dying to see one. Though a bit late to the party and was an actual Force non-believer, she now finds the Star Wars franchise quite fascinating (fun fact: it was a crazy Jar Jar Binks/Sith theory that drew her in).
