Bachelorette Will Urena Says Peter Izzos Pizza Is Actually Really Good

After being accused of slandering the name of “pizzapreneur” Peter Izzo’s pizzeria, Will Urena recently admitted that the pies made by his fellow The Bachelorette contestant are “actually really good.” For the majority of their journey to find love with Michelle Young, these two were constantly feuding, from calling each other names to tossing prized possessions into pools. Not surprisingly, their ongoing battle continued this week on Men Tell All. But shortly after the special episode aired, Will took to social media to seemingly call a truce.

Things began to heat up between Peter and Will during a group date, which saw the men tasked with a spelling challenge. When asked to spell the word “narcissist,” Will wrote down “Peter.” There was just something about Peter, who regularly bragged about his thriving pizzeria business in Florida, that rubbed Will the wrong way. Their dislike of each other heightened when Peter threw a jacket that Will won on the group date into the pool. During Men Tell All, co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe revealed harsh reviews of Peter’s pizzeria and questioned whether or not they were Will’s doing. Naturally, Will denied it. But one such comment about the pizza tasting like it came out of a pool was a little suspicious.

Following Men Tell All, Will shared a lengthy statement on his Instagram Story. Will said that Peter’s pizza is “actually really good and I’m sure if you visit his pizzeria you will have a memorable experience.” He added, “Can’t wait till I can have a slice down in Florida. I truly hope the best for his business and really wish Peter and his pizzeria will reach new heights this year.” Will went on to say that he and Peter won’t necessarily be best friends, but he’s working on managing his emotions. He also urged his followers to “forgive Peter” because, “He is a person. He is a man. He is a guy who like myself has a strong personality and we just happened to clash.”

The day after Will’s post, Peter took to his own Instagram Story to make a statement. Peter said he appreciated that Will reached out to him and expressed his hope that they can continue to build a friendship. “We’re bound together through this experience through life,” said Peter. “I admire your strong character and what you’re passionate about. My doors are always open for you and your family. I’m looking forward to watching our friendship expand. Happy once we’re out of the production life we can have real conversations.”

It’s nice to see Will and Peter putting their differences aside. However, no one mentioned the fact that Peter served Will with a subpoena for defamation of character on Men Tell All. While it’s possible that the dramatic scene was staged for typical The Bachelorette controversy, it’s also possible it was real and that they’ve since settled things off-camera. Regardless, it seems that Peter and Will’s friendship, as well as Peter’s Pizzeria, will be OK moving forward.
