Disney’s Big Hero 6 and The Incredibles are two of the best superhero movies of all time, blending both action and family emotion together in a unique manner. The movies focus on friendship, family, loyalty, and togetherness, while also highlighting the amazing powers that the characters have, from super speed to a robot who focuses on healing people.

The two movies look at different ways people can become superheroes as well, with The Incredibles being born with the powers, while in Big Hero 6, they create them via technology. But the personalities of all the characters involved are what makes them so great. If they came together in an MCU-style moment, who would get along? Which member of the Parr family would appreciate Baymax’s healing, and would Hiro be able to cope with Edna Mode’s fashion advice?

10 Friendship Would Work: Honey Lemon & Voyd

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Voyd was a new character added to the franchise for The Incredibles 2, and she brought tons of energy to the movie with her excitement and desire to be the next big superhero. That is one of the reasons why she’d be good friends with Honey Lemon, as she is also someone who just loves life and is kind to everyone else.

The two of them are eager to help others and they’re both a lot of fun to be around. If they were to become friends, there is no doubt that they’d hit it off straight away and their overall happiness would make them close from the start.

9 Wouldn’t Be Friends: Yama & Jack-Jack

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Jack-Jack may only be a baby, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t understand who is nice and who is not. The baby of the family actually has a great judge of character, using his abilities to deal with anyone who he deems to not be nice, and that would be the case with Yama.

The king of the robot fighting world is someone who is out to make money from as many people as possible, and he’s not afraid to bully others in order to get what he wants. Yama has no desire to look after, or become friends with a baby, which is why this friendship wouldn’t end well.

8 Friendship Would Work: Robert Callaghan & Evelyn Deavor

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Two of the antagonists from their respective movies would make for a sinister friendship that would actually work out well for them. Both Robert Callaghan and Evelyn Deavor are intelligent people, and their ability to find real success in everything they strive for would make them well suited to being friends.

They’re both very good at lying and manipulating others, pretending that they’re genuine, nice people only to showcase their true personalities straight after. Putting them together might be a nightmare for others, but it would certainly work for them.

7 Wouldn’t Be Friends: Wasabi & Violet

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Both Wasabi and Violet are heroes in their respective movies, who are on the side of good, but that doesn’t mean they would instantly click as friends. Violet is a quiet and shy individual that likes to keep to herself, not wanting to brag or be over-the-top with how she acts.

However, that is the opposite for Wasabi. He’s a loud and confident character who has energy to burn throughout Big Hero 6. He’s a positive person and while he doesn’t mean bad by it, he would likely be a little too much, which would simply annoy Violet.

6 Friendship Would Work: Cass & Mrs. Incredible

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

While Cass is actually Hiro and Tadashi’s auntie, she acts as their mother in Big Hero 6 due to the fact that they lost their parents. Her caring nature and desire to try and make sure everything is perfect for her two boys is something that Mrs. Incredible could easily relate to.

Even though Cass may not have any superpowers as Helen Parr does, she’s a true hero with how she looks after her nephews. These are two kind individuals who always put others ahead of themselves, offering out compassion and advice, and together they really would be a strong duo.

5 Wouldn’t Be Friends: Go Go Tomago & Edna Mode

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Go Go Tomago is part of Hiro’s team and is one of the heroes that helps him throughout the movie. However, she is also a sassy character who can be quite grumpy at points, not always being a big team player or having any real desire to take advice from other people.

That’s why a friendship with Edna Mode likely wouldn’t go down very well. Edna has no problem in telling people exactly what she thinks, being blunt in her delivery as she is intelligent enough to know she’s right. While she does mean well with her thoughts, it would risk frustrating and annoying GoGo.

4 Friendship Would Work: Hiro & Dash

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Hiro and Dash are two of the lead characters and great heroes from their respective movies. They’re both young characters who are fighting issues that require a lot of maturity, which they don’t always have, simply because they’re learning. However, both always do what is right and together, they’d work well as friends.

Each of them has tons of energy, never stopping and always wanting to be on the go. Whether it’s Hiro constantly creating ideas or wanting to get out and fight, or Dash using his newfound ability. They’re both quite emotional underneath their tougher personas, and they would certainly connect well as friends.

3 Wouldn’t Be Friends: Tadashi & Syndrome

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Tadashi is an intelligent character, much like Syndrome, and they’re two men who really know how to use technology to their advantage. However, the way they utilize it is very different, with Tadashi creating Baymax in order to help people, while Syndrome looks to destroy things with the Omnidroid.

If there’s one thing that Tadashi hates, it is talent going to waste, and that is how he would feel in regards to Syndrome. Because The Incredibles villain has such an evil thought process, the two of them just would not be able to coexist.

2 Friendship Would Work: Fred & Frozone

Big Hero 6 Meets The Incredibles 5 Friendships That Would Work (& 5 That Wouldnt)

Fred would likely make friends with everybody from The Incredibles, as he’s genuinely a nice, likable person who has a zest for life and a huge personality. However, he loves comics and superheroes, therefore someone as cool as Frozone is instantly going to be great for him to be friends with.

Frozone is equally passionate about anything he sets his mind to, and much like Fred, he’s always looking to help his friends. Frozone loves being a superhero and never wants to give it up, happily answering the call to fight whenever which is what makes him similar to Fred. With humor being a big part of their personalities, they’d be a lot of fun together.

1 Wouldn’t Be Friends: Baymax & Mr. Incredible

Baymax and Mr. Incredible are two of the lead characters from their movies, and they’re true heroes who do try and help others as much as possible. Together, they would actually be a great force for good, but when it comes to a potential friendship, this is one that wouldn’t actually work.

With the way Baymax is programmed, he likes to ask a lot of questions and with his slow speed, he can be a little frustrating to others. Mr. Incredible is known for having a complete lack of patience, and not always wanting the help of others, which would make this pairing a disaster.
