Bugsnax is a new critter-catching game for PC and PlayStation. There are 100 total different types of food-themed bugs to catch, like the Poptick and the Cinnasnail. The Cinnasnail is difficult to find and even harder for players to catch.

Cinnasnails

Cinnasnails are icing-covered snails that are half cinnamon bun, which makes them both slow and very sticky. These adorable little bug friends are only found in Sugarpine Forest. They like to crawl on rocks and through the forest, and they absolutely love chocolate. In this inspired, Pokemon-like game Bugsnax, players will need to catch two of them to complete the quest called Get Chandlo Back To Snaxburg.

Getting the Quest

The Bugsnax quest Get Chandlo Back To Snaxburg right after Chandlo gives players his Basketball, soon after players get the Grapple Gun. Players will need to lure Chandlo and his best friend Snorpy back to town in order to finish the quest, since one won’t go anywhere without the other.

The lure for the job is the Cinnasnail, which will be just one more bug collected toward collecting all the Bugsnax and getting some of the most difficult trophies. The Cinnasnail is described as “Very slow, very sticky. It likes to stay far out of reach,” which gives some clues as to how not to try and catch the slimy critter. There are a couple of ways to catch the Cinnasnails for this challenge.

Catch With Traps

This cinnamon-swirled snails is one of the weirdest bugs in Bugsnax, but like most of the other bugs, it will follow a trail of chocolate right into a trap. Set up a trap near where the snail is hanging out, then make a trail of chocolate bites from the snail to the trap. Don’t get too close to the Cinnasnail, or it will get scared and start sliding away from the trap.

Catch With Grapple Gun

Players can also catch the Cinnasnails with a combination of the drone-like Snak Trap off of a Launchpad, and then bring in the snail with the Grapple Gun. Place the trap on the pad, aim it at the Cinnasnail, launch, and then close the trap when the aura turns blue. Once the snail is in the trap, players can hook it with the grapple and pull it in.

Players can check out the video below to see how it is done in Bugsnax, one of the most adorable PS5 Launch titles.

Bugsnax is out now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
