Crisis on Infinite Earths 10 DC Voice Actors Who Should Show Up in the Arrowverse Crossover

The Arrowverse is setting up its biggest crossover of all time with the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths that will bring Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, and Black Lightning for the five-hour event. But what TPTB are also doing, besides celebrating one of DC’s biggest stories in this mega-franchise, is to honor past DC TV media. We have Brandon Routh’s Superman from Superman Returns, Tom Welling and Erica Durance as Smallville’s Clark and Lois, as well as iconic Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy set to play Bruce Wayne in live-action for the first time.

There is still more homage to come, but when it comes to Conroy, it’s a special case. This goes to show that they’re also honoring what has been done in animation for DC. With the crossover coming in roughly two months from now, there could still be more surprise appearances in store for fans before we get to it. With Conroy being brought in to play a version of the character he has voiced for so many years now, why stop there? Here are the ten voice actors who we hope shows up in the crossover as a version of their character that they’ve voiced in the past.

10 Carl Lumbly (Martian Manhunter)

When it comes to the Martian Manhunter in media, Carl Lumbly is one of the iconic actors that people remember having voiced the beloved Martian. Having played the character in Justice League/Justice League Unlimited as well as a few other DC projects, how amazing would it be to have Lumbly unite with David Harewood’s J’onn J’onzz from Supergirl?

Lumbly already has a connection to the series, having played J’onn’s father in season three.

9 Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor)

With Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum seemingly not taking part in the crossover as his version of Lex Luthor, Jon Cryer’s incarnation could use some Luthor-y company.

One of the other iconic actors to have played Lex in the past is Clancy Brown, starting from Superman: The Animated Series to a big list of other DC animated projects. While he did appear in the first season of The Flash as DC baddie General Eiling, it shouldn’t prevent him from getting to play Lex in the flesh.

8 Tim Daly (Superman)

Since Conroy is set to play a live-action portrayal of the famous detective, he could use a fellow Man of Steel by his side, even if it’s just as Clark Kent. Who wouldn’t cry absolute nerd tears if they saw Conroy’s Bruce Wayne with Tim Daly’s Man of Steel?

From voicing the famous Boy Scout in Superman: The Animated Series as well as in several big DC animated films, having Daly show up even for just a cameo would be incredible. Besides, why stop at three Men of Steel?

7 Dana Delany (Lois Lane)

With Elizabeth Tulloch and Durance both playing their versions of Lois Lane in the crossover, there’s still room for a few other incarnations of the famous reporter to show up. Having mentioned Brown’s Lex and Daly’s Superman, we can’t forget Dana Delany who voiced Lois in the same animated show.

Delany is one of the actresses many fans think of when it comes to Lois in various Superman media. It would be rewarding for fans and probably the actress too if Delany gets to play Lois in the flesh.

6 Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman)

Though the Arrowverse has had the iconic Lynda Carter on Supergirl, Greg Berlanti’s DC TV universe has yet to have Wonder Woman show up in any of these shows. While Diana Prince has been played by Carter and Gal Gadot in live-action, the iconic heroine has had plenty of animated appearances.

Out of the many talented women to have lent their voices to Diana, Susan Eisenberg’s version is the one that many think of when they think of Wonder Woman. From the two Justice League animated shows to the two Injustice games, if the crossover can have a Wonder Woman cameo, Eisenberg would be a dream come true. How iconic would it be to see Conroy’s Bruce interacting with Eisenberg’s version of Diana in live-action?

5 Phil LaMarr (Green Lantern)

While Phil LaMarr is already busy voicing the villainous Malefic, brother of J’onn, in the new season of Supergirl, the actor is no stranger to playing DC characters. One that many have come to love since his work on the two Justice League animated shows is John Stewart a.k.a. the Green Lantern.

With the many green teases that have been made about John Diggle (David Ramsey), it would still be phenomenal if LaMarr got to take part in the crossover as Stewart in any capacity. Whether it would be suiting up or appearing in a cameo, fans would still love the heck out of seeing him in it.

4 CCH Pounder (Amanda Waller)

Despite Arrow killing off their Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) several seasons ago, could the Crisis maybe introduce a new version? If so, it should be done right this time around. Starting from Justice League: Unlimited to several other DC animated films and shows; CCH Pounder is still the voice of Amanda Waller to this day.

It would be epic to see Pounder get to play this role in live-action after having voiced her so many times. In addition to that, Crisis on Infinite Earths could use this as a way to incorporate Amanda back into the Arrowverse after the crossover. The DC Universe always needs someone like Amanda Waller, no matter what.

3 Tara Strong (Harley Quinn)

Having mentioned a lot of heroes we’d love to see, there need to be some shout outs for a few baddies as well. After doing a quick voice cameo in Arrow season two, how about we actually get Tara Strong to play Harley Quinn on screen? For a long time now, Strong has been seen as one of the definitive voices for Harley.

We have no doubt that she would do amazing in playing this icon in the flesh. Even if it’s just for one scene, getting to see Harley on-screen with someone as talented as Strong playing her, would be another bonus for this massive crossover.

2 Jensen Ackles (Red Hood)

One of the most iconic DC animated films to this day is Batman: Under the Red Hood. Based on the comic of the same name, it tells the iconic story of the Caped Crusader facing the Red Hood that is none other than Jason Todd, the second Robin. Back from the dead, this was truly Jason’s big entry into DC media, with Supernatural star Jensen Ackles voicing the iconic anti-hero.

Nine years later and Ackles’ work with the character is loved by so many. The actor has even suited up as Red Hood in real life for photos. Since Ackles is filming in the same city as all the DC shows, how hard would it be to get him to show up from one of the Earths as a Red Hood who has been operating for years?

1 Mark Hamill (The Joker)

As iconic as Conroy’s voice work for Batman is, so is Mark Hamill’s Joker. These two actors have portrayed the iconic hero and foe in several projects, starting with Batman: The Animated Series. Just as Conroy is seen as the definitive voice for Batman, that is the case for Hamill with the Joker.

Hamill has already appeared in the Arrowverse through The Flash as the Trickster, with an homage to playing the same role in the ’90s Flash series. However, if this crossover is giving us Conroy as a live-action Bruce, having Hamill show up as the Joker in the flesh would break the internet, without a doubt. It definitely would make many fans happy if Hamill and Conroy get to share a scene together as their characters.
