Cyberpunk 2077 CohhCarnages The Prophets Song Quest Guide

CohhCarnage’s character in Cyberpunk 2077, Garry the Prophet, has an extensive storyline that may have deep connections to prominent game lore, but starting the quest takes a number of steps. Here’s how players can start and complete Garry the Prophet’s questline, The Prophet’s Song.

A number of online personalities and influencers appear in Cyberpunk 2077 as cameos. For example, Santa Monica Studio developer Alanah Pearce appears in the game as Lana in a quest called These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. V can only meet her if they chose the Nomad lifepath. Additionally, Grimes voices Lizzy Wizzy, who is turning more sinister following her full-body cyberware replacement. Gaming livestreamer CohhCarnage also appears in Cyberpunk 2077 as Garry the Prophet. Previously, players thought he was just a crazy guy preaching conspiracy theories on the street, but it turns out some of Garry’s theories may not be all that insane.

How to Start The Prophet’s Song

Starting this hidden Cyberpunk 2077 side quest means sticking around for Garry’s conspiracy. He’ll preach the Saburo Arasaka isn’t truly dead but is rather being kept within the “family crypt.” Another speech he gives discusses the aliens with glowing blue eyes coming from space to abduct people, a possible nod to the mysterious Mr. Blue Eyes.

When Garry asks V for a donation, V should donate at least a modest eddie to him. When NPCs and bystanders question the validity of his theories, defend him and go along with his conspiracies whenever possible. This will eventually trigger the real beginning of his story, where two Nomads will attack him. Defend Garry before they beat him up and The Prophet’s Song quest will pop up in the docket.

The Prophet’s Song Quest

V will ask Garry if has any real proof of the claims he makes, who will say that he knows of a meeting at an old factory in Kabuki. Garry will ask V to obtain the “Alpha Centauri artifact” from this meeting and bring it back to him.

Go to the factory at night and observe the meeting between Maelstrom and another ambiguous group, seemingly the “techno-necromancers” Garry was referring to. To get the item, a mysterious chip, V will have to kill the meeting attendees. The easiest way to do this is by throwing a grenade while the meeting is taking place because everyone will be close to one another. Otherwise, V may have to chase down a vehicle to finish the quest.

V will then have to return to Garry the Prophet but upon arriving at his usual spot, he’ll have been replaced by a follower of Garry’s who claims he’s been abducted. Show the chip the disciple and speak to Johnny Silverhand to finish the mission.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions in development for a late 2021 release.
