After a long wait, Cyberpunk 2077’s Patch 1.3 is getting its first free DLC content, adding a new Archer Quartz car and alternate threads for Johnny Silverhand. CD Projekt Red’s futuristic RPG has been fighting an uphill battle since its disastrous launch in 2020, which was so badly marred by game-breaking glitches that Sony pulled it from the PlayStation Store and offered those who bought the digital version full refunds.

Since then, Cyberpunk 2077 has returned to the PlayStation Store, and the worst of its many bugs have been remedied to the point that CD Projekt Red recently deemed its stability as satisfactory. Of course, there are still several areas for the developer to improve upon in the game. The recently announced Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 promises to make perk resets cheaper and address a minor issue in a plot-vital side quest at the Clouds nightclub – among hundreds of other fixes.

On Tuesday, Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red posted an update on the various cosmetic items coming in Cyberpunk 2077 1.3 patch, and it will release sometime “soon.” These include an alternate costume for Johnny Silverhand (which can be accessed via the “Additional Content” settings menu tab), new Multilayered Syn-Leather Deltajock and Luminescent Punk jackets for V (which will be made available after players complete “The Ride” subquest and can be crafted at a higher level), and a shiny new Archer Quartz “Bandit” vehicle (which players can drive after clearing the “Ghost Town” series of missions).

The many content and gameplay tweaks introduced in Cyberpunk 2077’s Patch 1.3 are sweeping but perhaps not as game-changing as some players might have been hoping for, as there are still plenty of missing Cyberpunk 2077 features that fans are still waiting on – such as an option to let V change their appearance after the initial character customization at the game’s start. Some previous patches have even caused new glitches by themselves, such as one that hilariously allows NPCs to tackle cars, but none for Patch 1.3 have yet been reported.

CD Projekt Red is still working to correct the many issues that have plagued Cyberpunk 2077 since its infamous release last year, both the major bugs that rendered the game unplayable and the minor glitches that spawned countless memes online. While Patch 1.3 consists of lots of little bugfixes rather than anything drastic, the few new cosmetic items presented here might be fun for players who are still diving into the world of Night City.
