Learn how to get high stat armor in Destiny 2 Season of the Lost. Hight stat armor is needed for any PvP or PvE activity, and it’s been made easier to acquire than ever in Destiny 2. Higher stats mean abilities can recharge faster, damage resistance will be higher, and players can recover from damage faster. The best armor stats are going to vary from character to character, and even playstyle, but now is the perfect time to start creating a variety of armor builds before the Witch Queen expansion launches – and this method disappears.
Some of the newest additions to Destiny 2 in Season of the Lost are the six different Stat Armorer mods that can be equipped on Ghosts. These are mods that take up energy in the Ghosts’ third slot, and they can be earned through any random Legendary Engram. When any of the mods are equipped, any piece of armor found is guaranteed to have a minimum of 10 points for that particular stat, and they are more likely to drop even higher than that.
Passively playing through Destiny 2 with any of the desired stat mods equipped will earn players their desired high stats pieces, but they can actually further target farm rolls for the ideal builds. Additionally, although only one armor stat mod can be equipped at a time, two different stats can be targeted with the help of the Prismatic Recaster. Destiny 2’s Prismatic Recaster has many different options for Tier III armor focusing within the Season of the Chosen, Splicer, and Lost subscreens – but the Season of the Splicer armor is more likely to have a higher stat roll than the other two.

Both Umbral Engrams and Decrypted Data are needed in order to focus Tier III Umbral Engrams in the Season of the Splicer subvendor. Decrypted Data can be earned by completing either Override or Expunge missions in Destiny 2. Use 150 Decrypted Data and a single Umbral Engram to focus a piece of Tier III armor.
Unfortunately, specific armor pieces cannot be farmed directly, so the type of armor with the stats will always be random. Additionally, only three Tier III armor pieces can be focused a week in Destiny 2, so anyone who misses out on any given week won’t be able to backtrack for high stat armor. Make use of the high stat armor to prepare for end-game activities like Grandmaster Nightfalls and Trials of Osiris.
