Disney is responsible for an enormous legion of beloved characters known around the world and beyond. From Mickey and Minnie to Nick and Judy, we’ve seen them create hit after hit with some of the most delightful personalities the world of film has ever known. So it’s no surprise the animators sneak in a special appearance once in a while.
It’s not uncommon to find a hidden Disney character once in a while, but certain members of this colorful cast have made frequent cameos in multiple motion pictures. Today, we’re going to take a look at some of these repeat offenders as we uncover ten Disney characters with multiple appearances.
10 The Magic Carpet
He might be a non-verbal object, but this rug definitely has more than enough character to be considered for our list. Aladdin’s magic carpet does more than fly around the city of Agrabah, but he also flies right off the film strip and into other famous Disney animated features.
Carpet has not one, not two, but three cameo appearances in other animated films. After Aladdin, Carpet had cameo roles in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Princess and the Frog, and even Moana. It looks like he wanted to get out there and see some whole new worlds.
9 Nemo
Marlin, buddy, you’ve got to keep better track of your boy… If he’s not out at the drop off with his class or being held captive in a dentist’s office, Nemo also makes cameos in other Disney properties. Since his debut in 2003’s Finding Nemo, the titular lucky-finned clownfish has been seen off the reef on at least three other occasions, both in and out of Pixar films.
If you want to find Nemo, take a look at some of the salmon in Brother Bear, Boo’s toy collection in Monster’s Inc. and the box of one of the board games in Riley’s imagination in Inside Out.
8 Hans
Though Hans of the Southern Isles only makes two other cameo appearances outside of Arendelle, we have to give this no-good noble a mention for a very special reason. Hans has not only two cameos under his belt, but he has the rare case of both of them being in the same film. Keep an eye out next time you watch Big Hero Six
The first time Hans is hinted at is during the scene at the police station after Hiro and Baymax escape the clutches of Yokai and his stolen microbots. Hans’s wanted poster can be seen behind the desk officer on the wall. The second appearance is a split second when the heroes are training, but the statue that gets blown to bits definitely has a familiar face.
7 Jock
You might only know this scruffy Scotty dog from Disney’s Lady and the Tramp, but Jock has definitely spread his wings since appearing in the Disney classic. In fact, the Scottish terrier has appeared in at least four other Disney films in his career. He’s been seen in London, New York City, and even the African savannah.

Jock can be seen joining the Twilight Bark in 101 Dalmatians, and in its sequel. He can also be found walking the streets of New York in Oliver and Company for the big canine musical number. But the strangest one of all has to be his strange appearance amongst the hyenas in The Lion King.
6 Dumbo
The famous flying elephant with the magic feather definitely soars out of the screen with the greatest of ease in the original 1941 film. But since his circus days, Dumbo has appeared in a few different cameos in other features, but the strange thing is that they’re all the same type.
Dumbo is definitely one of Disney’s most adorable creatures, so it makes perfect sense he’d be great as a toy. Thus all his cameos are toy versions, and they can be seen in The Great Mouse Detective, Lilo and Stitch, and he even makes an adorable appearance in his own 2019 remake.
5 Timon and Pumbaa
Though Pumbaa definitely has more frequent cameo appearances than his loud-mouth partner in crime, we simply had to include them both together. If they’re not hanging out in their jungle oasis, rustling up some grubs, or doing time transitions across a fallen log, they’re hiding out in other Disney media.
Pumbaa has had his fair share of guests appearances, having been featured as an extra in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, and Tangled. But both of them have been featured together in Lilo and Stitch: the Series and even the remake of The Jungle Book.
4 Jack Skellington
The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town definitely deserves an award for the most variety when it comes to other movie cameos. Not only has Jack Skellington appeared in other Disney movies, but he’s even gone as far as crossing over into other studios as well!
In Disney alone, Jack has been seen in Tim Burton’s Vincent, James and the Giant Peach, Alice in Wonderland, and he even appears in Princess and the Frog as one of Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side. Looks like Jack has one impressive resume, don’t you think.
3 Jimmy Cricket
Jiminy Cricket doesn’t just do cameos, he does full-on special guest appearances. We could dedicate a list or even two to the number of appearances this insightful insect has. In the long run, it does make perfect sense that Jiminy would go to do other things. Pinocchio didn’t stay a puppet forever, you know.
Outside of Pinocchio, Jiminy has had featured roles in Fun and Fancy Free, The Mickey Mouse Club, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and The Walt Disney Anthology Collection just to name a few. And we’ve not even mentioned his videogame history.
2 The Pizza Planet Truck
Though not a character in the traditional sense, there are few more recognizable figures in all of Pixar than the Pizza Planet Truck. We don’t know about you, but we think the restaurant chain must have multiverse-level locations scattered all throughout the animated worlds.
We’re not joking, the Pizza Planet Truck has been featured in almost every single Pixar film since the days of the original Toy Story. It even has appearances in films like Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. We’ve even dedicated an entire list to the subject if you don’t believe us.
1 Mickey Mouse
If there’s any Disney character who has the longest list of film credits to his name, we need to look no further than the leader of the club that’s made for you and me. Mickey has had more than a lion’s share of film appearances, and we are not the least bit exaggerating on this one.
Whether it’s a full-scale special appearance like in A Goofy Movie or The Little Mermaid, or it’s one of his dozens upon dozens of Hidden Mickeys scattered throughout the animated universe, if it’s one guy who knows how to sneak his way into a flick, it’s the Master Mouse himself.
