If Elsa were to find herself in the world of Pokémon, which creatures would she use to form her team?

Elsa, queen of the ice. Disney’s elemental hero is the savior of Arendelle, and she can solve any problem with her icy powers, and the love of her sister, of course. However, what would happen if Elsa were thrown into the world of Pokémon? She’d likely face plenty of new threats, sure, but she’d also be able to build a team of six Pokémon to help her take on those enemies. Who would she choose to help aid her in her quest for good? Let’s take a look.
6 Articuno
Articuno is the original poster child for Ice-types when it comes to the Pokémon franchise. If Elsa wants to add someone to the team that can help her master her ice capabilities, or someone to combine her powers with to deal double the damage to her enemies, then Articuno is a great candidate. That is not all that Articuno will be offering to Team Elsa, however. Its flight capabilities are also something to be noted, as Elsa can soar across the skies with the help of Articuno. She can combine her powers with it, use it for flight, and simply have another icy buddy to share her feelings with. Articuno is going to be a huge boon to Elsa’s team.
5 Abomasnow
When Elsa is off taking on Team Galactic, or whoever she might be fighting in her quest for justice, she’s going to need some muscle, someone who can get in there and really deal damage and cause a distraction while she takes out their enemies with it. Abomasnow is a perfect candidate for that role.
Abomasnow might not have much survivability due to its very unfortunate typing, sure, but that won’t matter, as Abomasnow is going to go in and deal huge amounts of damage quickly, not getting hurt itself. Elsa has a few different ways that she can use Abomasnow’s powers to her advantage. For one, she can team up with it to maximize their damage. Or, she could help and defend it so it doesn’t have to take any damage while rampaging. She should make sure to grow a strong bond with it before going into battle, though, so it can Mega Evolve and get the most out of its power as possible.
4 Magmortar
You didn’t think that Elsa was going to use a team of six Ice-type Pokémon, did you? Of course not! Elsa is smarter than that, she knows that you need more than one typing to get the most out of your team. So, in that case, why not utilize the elements that she encountered during her adventures in Frozen 2?
Magmortar represents fire in this case, and it is one of the strongest Fire-type Pokémon out there. It’s got two cannons for arms, meaning that dealing damage is what Magmortar knows how to do best. Magmortar is going to smash through the defenses of their enemies, and if its powers ever get too out of control then she can use her icy powers to put out any unintentional fires. Elsa and Magmortar might seem like somewhat of an odd duo, but in reality, they would work very well together.
3 Vaporeon
Vaporeon is the Water-type representative for Elsa’s team, and its mermaid-like body really proves that it embodies the water element very well.
Vaporeon can suit many different roles when it comes to the composition of Elsa’s team. It can deal damage like all of the others on the team, sure, but it can do more than that too. It can use its powers to keep itself and the rest of the team healthy, and it can be used to surf across bodies of water to get Elsa where she needs to be. Vaporeon can be a damage dealer, but it can also be used for its utility, making Vaporeon a very important part of the team.
2 Stonjourner
Stonjourner is going to be the next member of Elsa’s team. Stonjourner can be utilized in a few different ways, just like Vaporeon. However, its main two roles are going to be pretty standard, attack and defense. Stonjourner would be a great Pokémon to keep Elsa and the other Pokémon safe while they deal damage, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t jump in there and help when need be, too. Stonjourner might not jump out right away as a great Pokémon to many, but it’ll certainly do its part in making Team Elsa the best team it can be.
1 Shiftry
Shiftry can use its huge, leafy arms to whip up huge gusts of wind, embodying the air element. Shiftry’s unique qualities will make it a big help to the team, as it can use its powers to keep enemies back or push allies forward. Of course, this isn’t all that it can do, as Shiftry can also go on the offensive and launch its own powerful attacks when need be.
