Dragon Ball Z is the second series in the long running Dragon Ball franchise, however it is arguably the most well-known and beloved. The series picks up five years after Dragon Ball (however the manga would keep the same title for the entire run) and follows Goku’s adventures after he learns he is in fact, a Saiyan from the Planet Vegeta.
The franchise never really went away, thanks to video games keeping fans interested and the dub getting re-releases. However, the series saw a massive resurgence when new content was brought out by series creator, Akira Toriyama. This includes the two Dragon Ball Z movies and the new series, Dragon Ball Super. Super has had incredible success, but when most people mention the franchise as a whole, they still usually refer to it as Dragon Ball Z. These are the top ten episodes, according to IMDb.
