Clint and Scott Eastwood are one of the most popular father-and-son duos in Hollywood, and they have worked together a couple of times. Few actors have successfully transitioned from being in front of the camera to working behind it as Clint Eastwood has. The legendary actor began his career in film with an uncredited role in Revenge of the Creature in 1955, and his first big role arrived the following year with The First Traveling Saleslady. However, his big break happened a decade later when he was cast as the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone’s western A Fistful of Dollars, followed by For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966).

After that came many other notable roles in different genres, such as Harry Callahan in Dirty Harry, Robert Kincaid in The Bridges of Madison County, and Walt Kowalski in Gran Torino. Clint Eastwood made his directorial debut in 1971 with Play Misty For Me, and he has since directed over 30 movies and has also appeared in some of them. Meanwhile, his son, Scott Eastwood, has also worked hard to earn his place in the film industry. Scott’s acting debut was in the war film Flags of Our Fathers (where he was credited as Scott Reeves) in 2006, and in 2011, he starred in Enter Nowhere. Among Scott Eastwood’s most notable roles are Luke Collins in The Longest Ride, Trevor James in Snowden, Eric Reisner in The Fate of the Furious, and Nathan Lambert in Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Although their careers were built separately, Clint and Scott Eastwood have worked together a couple of times, either sharing the screen, Scott working under his father’s direction, or both. Here’s every Clint & Scott Eastwood movie.

Flags of Our Father (2006)

Every Clint & Scott Eastwood Movie

Flags of Our Father was the first collaboration between Clint and Scott Eastwood, with the former serving as director. Flags of Our Father is a war movie based on the book of the same name by James Bradley and Ron Powers, and it tells the story of the 1945 Battle of Iwo Jima, in which the United States Marine Corps and Navy landed on and eventually captured the island of Iwo Jima from the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Flags of Our Father follows the five Marines and one Navy corpsman who were involved in raising the flag on Iwo Jima. Scott Eastwood played Private Roberto Lundsford, and only had one line: “You actually chose the Marines because they had the best uniforms?”.

Gran Torino (2008)

The next collaboration between Clint and Scott Eastwood was Gran Torino, another project directed by Clint Eastwood and starring him in the lead role of Walt Kowalski. Gran Torino follows Korean War veteran Walt Kowalski, who recently became a widower and had since alienated himself from his family and was very angry at the world. His neighbor, Thao Vang Lor (Bee Vang), is pressured by his cousin to steal Walt’s 1972 Ford Gran Torino as part of his initiation into a gang, but Walt stops his plans and they end up developing a close relationship. Scott played another minor role in Gran Torino: Trey, the date of Thao’s older sister, Sue.

Invictus is a biographical sports drama directed by Clint Eastwood and based on the book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation by John Carlin about the events in South Africa before and during the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Invictus follows Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman), who after his 27-year imprisonment and subsequent election as President of South Africa, decides to unite his people by supporting a rugby team, the Sprinboks, in their bid to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Scott Eastwood, once more, had a minor role, this time as Joel Stransky, the team’s fly-half and goal kicker who made their victory possible thanks to a drop goal.

Trouble With The Curve (2012)

The most recent collaboration between Clint and Scott Eastwood is Trouble With The Curve, a sports drama directed by Robert Lorenz. Trouble With The Curve tells the story of Gus Lobel (Clint Eastwood), an aging Atlanta Braves baseball scout who is given one last assignment to prove his value to the organization, as they believe he’s unable to adapt to changes within the game. As his boss and friend doesn’t want to see him go, he contacts his daughter, Mickey (Amy Adams), to join him on the scouting trip. Scott Eastwood had a minor role in Trouble With The Curve as Billy Clark, a player for the Atlanta Braves.
