- Mead and Honey – While players will start their game out nibbling on berries to keep themselves alive, eventually they will have the ability to build expansive honey farms. These are important as a resource, because honey is the key ingredient for the mead bases that fermenters turn into mead. Valheim’s mead acts as the potions for the game, offering players stamina renewal, status protection, and health restoration.
- Multiple Bases – While one fully built base marks progress a playthrough, players who have unlocked many biomes and spend a large amount of time traveling will likely need a home away from home. Players could set a goal to have a solid base in every biome of their map.
- Portals – Portals allow players to travel from one area to another. They are also expensive to craft, with the Surtling Core resource needed found in more hostile environments. Players could set a goal to have a network of portals to jump from area to area instantly.
- Good Food – While players start out eating whatever they might have on hand, the ability to cook every meal in Valheim indicates access to all ingredients. This could mean a player has established sustainable sources of vegetables and meat, with turnip gardens and carrot fields just a few steps away from the cauldron. Good food restores more stamina and health, allowing players to venture from home and into dangers unknown more safely.
