Far Cry 6 The Missing Muse Treasure Hunt

Far Cry 6’s Treasure Hunt will have Dani exploring every nook and cranny of Yara for good loot. The notes that players must inspect to start Treasure Hunts can be humorous or serious. Sometimes they show just how far Anton Castillo’s rule has picked apart Yara. One such example is Far Cry 6’s “The Missing Muse” Treasure Hunt.

“The Missing Muse” can be found on the Cape Santa Maria at Pez Volador Diving Club near the El Sorbo Lounge. Dani must follow clues about someone named “Rosa.” It can be a little confusing if players don’t want to sit through hit-or-miss poetry. Here’s what needs to be done.

Far Cry 6 The Missing Muse Treasure Hunt

There are several ways to reach “The Missing Muse” Treasure Hunt spot.

If Dani is not in Cape Santa Maria or near Burros Bay, then Fast Travel to Segunda. If Segunda is not unlocked, then Dani can Fast Travel to Cape Santa Maria Checkpoint, which is a little way up the road from where the Treasure Hunt starts. Since Segunda is plot-important, it may be easier to warp the checkpoint instead. If it hasn’t been secured yet, defeat the Yaran soldiers and burn Castillo’s billboard. However, if players really don’t wish to fight, then the last option is Fast Traveling to Camp Maximas.

TIP: Dani can Air Drop and use the wingsuit (if it’s unlocked) at the Cape Santa Maria Checkpoint and Segunda, but not Camp Maximas. Air Dropping will make traveling to the Treasure Hunt spot much quicker. However, be careful of any Anti-Air Canons.

Start the Treasure Hunt by inspecting the note inside the orange box on the wall of the blue hut. It’s written by a poet named Ambrosio, who laments about “Rosa taking the key to [his heart].” before deciding to go to the bar. From there, turn around and walk towards the bar (it’s a half-ship half-building) and go up to the second floor. Grab Ambrosio’s Key hanging on the wall next to the bar.

Next, read the note on one of the white tables. It’s a poem by Ambrosio about Rosa, but all the player needs to do is head towards the docks. Go up the lookout tower to find another poem. This one talks about a “jutting cliff”, which is coincidentally the same cliff the lookout is facing. Take the zipline and start climbing the cliff. Players will have to jump from one ledge to another, so look carefully for orange edges.

At the top of this cliff is a wooden case with the last poem. Inspect this for the final clue and Dani will realize that “Rosa” isn’t a person, but Ambrosio’s beloved boat that sank. This means Dani will need to do some diving in the direction facing the buoy.

Kill all the sharks swimming at the base of the cliff before diving. The quickest way to get rid of them is using an RPG-7 or Grenade Launcher at their shadows in the water.

With that taken care of, dive right in. The boat isn’t too far, so hurry and loot the chest to get the Dark Tech Mask and Life Preserver Charm.

Once this Treasure Hunt is completed, players can go a little further south to Burros Bay to start a Yaran Story that involves feeding pelicans.
