Epic Games introduced a new currency into Fortnite Season 5 in the form of Gold Bars. Players can earn this currency by completing quests and bounties for the 40 NPC bounty hunters around the Fortnite map. Gold Bars are used to purchase new Exotic Weapons and upgrades from the NPC vendors, as well as to hire some NPCs as bodyguards to help players gain an advantage during a match. These purchases can get expensive, so players will want to earn as many Gold Bars as they can. Players can receive the largest possible amount of Gold Bars at one time by finding and looting small Gold Bar safes, which will spawn in locations around most of the named POIs. Each safe contains 150 Gold Bars.

The spawn rate for these safes is low, and not every match will have a safe to find. With so many possible POIs where players might find one, looting these safes is way to get a lot of Gold Bars quickly but is not likely to happen for players very often. However, once they know all the possible spawn locations at a given POI, they can stop by and check when they are in a named location as they progress through a normal match. There are seven potential spawn locations for a Gold Bar safe at Slurpy Swamp in Fortnite Season 5. Here’s where to find all seven.

Every Gold Bar Safe Location at Slurpy Swamp in Fortnite Season 5

Players can find Slurpy Swamp in the southwestern region of the Fortnite map. All the spawn locations for Gold Bar safes are on the main part of the POI near the Slurp Juice factory. Players will need to look out for opponents, as Slurpy Swamp tends to be a popular landing location even in Season 5.

Most of the spawn locations at Slurpy Swamp are close to one another, making it easy for players to search these all at once. The best place to start might be the southwest corner, where four safe spawn locations are concentrated close together. Players can see the approximate location of each safe spawn site on the map above. They can read the description below to get a better idea of the exact locations.

• Location 1: In the warehouse furthest southwest on the ground floor.
• Location 2: In the maintenance room of the warehouse east of Location 1, on the second floor
• Location 3: In the second-floor offices of the two-story building on the south side of the POI.

• Location 4: In the basement of the Slurp bar at the center of the POI, behind a counter.
• Location 5: On the main level of the northwestern warehouse with the electrical generator, next to the desk.
• Location 6: In the second-floor product testing room of the Slurp Juice factory on the northeast side of the POI. This is the building containing the Slurp Juice vats.
• Location 7: In an office on the ground floor of the Slurp Juice corporate office building on the east side of Slurpy Swamp, behind the lobby.

If players can’t find any safes at Slurpy Swamp, they can head to another named location nearby, like Weeping Woods, Misty Meadows, and Hunter’s Haven.

If players do manage to find a safe here and loot the 150 Gold Bars, they can keep these into the next matches. Gold Bars are saved between matches, allowing players to collect as many as they need and use them all to get a weapon, upgrade, or service they really like.
