With season 6 fast approaching in Fortnite, there is much to do before the conclusion of the current season. This guide will show players everything they need to do before season 6 begins. It is likely that season 6 will begin on March 16th since March 15th acts as the final day of season 5. With 15 weeks of challenges to complete, players have been given several opportunities to complete their battle pass and unlock enough V-bucks to afford the next season’s battle pass. Not only that, but all of this content will be locked away once the season is over to be replaced with a brand-new unknown theme. This guide will provide players with everything they need to do before season 6.
Fortnite has the tendency to lock content away once the season is over. There is a bit of legacy content that players can flex if they’ve played the game long enough. In previous seasons, players were able to unlock skins from properties like Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and so much more. In the case of season 5, players were able to collect skins of popular characters like Master Chief from Halo, Kratos from God of War, and Darryl and Michonne from The Walking Dead. Although, all of this content will likely not return unless the game plans to host a legacy event later down the line. Here is everything players need to do before season 6 arrives.
Everything You Need To Do Before Season 6 of Fortnite
Since season 6 will likely begin on March 16th, this leaves about a week to complete everything you need to before season 5 comes to an end. Here is everything players need to do.
- Reach Tier 100 of the Battle Pass: Players can do this by completing challenges and securing wins in the battle royale.
- Spend your Bars: These will go away once the season comes to an end. Make sure to put them to good use.
- Complete Stackable Challenges: Certain challenges are only made available once the player completes the ones they currently have available. Make sure to take some time to complete these to unlock some of the more premium content.
- V Bucks Assessment: Every season pass costs 950 V Bucks in the past. Players should have easily been able to collect this amount by unlocking tiers in the battle pass. Otherwise (if they want to participate in season 6), they will need to spend about $9.50 USD to purchase enough V Bucks for the next pass.
- Complete The Punch Cards: These tasks will reward players with experience and can be done by finishing simple task like using a Campfire or Capturing Fish. Take a look at which Punch Card task you are missing and get them done.
- Consider Paying For Better Skins: If there is a specific skin you missed out on and don’t have the time to invest in unlocking the experience for it, think about spending a bit of cash to unlock it. Once it goes in that Fortnite vault, it might be a while before it ever sees the light of day again.
Certain skins like the Mandalorian were made as special rewards for this season. Later on, players were even able to unlock Baby Yoda as a backpack. The next season is currently shrouded in mystery so it will be exciting to see what surprises come next. The middle of March cannot come any sooner.
