12 Aries – Qhorin Halfhand

This fire sign is known for being full of passion and courage. They’re outspoken, short-tempered, and enthusiastic people. All of these can be good or bad, but this impulsive and confident sign does everything with fire.

This man is the one of the greatest soldiers on the Watch, and he also sacrifices himself to save Jon when they’re captured by Wildlings. This character was brave, but he was also loyal and intelligent, like a true Aries.

This is the most holistic and down-to-earth sign. They’re practical and reliable, and are totally devoted and invested in those around them and the world in itself. They can be stubborn, too.

Benjen Stark was always there when Jon Snow and the others needed him. He was never at the forefront, but he was the most reliable member of the Night’s Watch there was. He even sacrificed himself, like any Taurus would.

10 Gemini – Aemon Targaryen

This air sign is the curious, gentle, and affectionate sign. They love new ideas, and they’re known for being witty. Of course, the Gemini has two sides: sociable and fun, or serious and thoughtful.

Aemon Targaryen was an extremely old character, and actually managed to die just because of natural causes. However, he was a true friend to Jon Snow, and he was a wise and gentle man. He would have been a true fun and thoughtful Gemini in his youth.

9 Cancer – Othell Yarwyck

Cancers are emotional people. They’re loyal and imaginative, but they can also be moody and manipulative. However, this tenacious sign is very caring, and very attached to those closest to them.

While it might be disappointed to be like this character, fans should remember his loyalty to Alliser Thorne and his commitment and love for his mother (shown before Jon hangs him for betrayal). He had his moments, and his positive attributes are definitely fitting for a Cancer.

The lion is the king of the jungle, and it’s only fit for this fire sign. Those who are Leos are leaders, and they’re full of passion and drive. On the other hand, they’re also pretty funny, but they can also be arrogant.

This Lord Commander ended up taking Jon Snow under his wing, and he was known for sticking to his guns and leading with conviction. Like a true lion, he was a born leader, but he also had a strong heart.

7 Virgo – Samwell Tarly

The Virgo is the most analytical and organized of the signs, and they’re definitely often misunderstood. Yet this sign has the biggest hearts, and they’re very caring and intuitive.

Samwell Tarly might just be one of the most loved members of the Night’s Watch, and maybe even in the entire series. He’s incredibly intelligent, but he’s also so warm-hearted and selfless. Of course, he’s misunderstood by many, and all of these things definitely make him a Virgo.

6 Libra – Olly

Libras are very fair and social people. They love diplomacy, and are bursting with kindness. However, their weakness is definitely that they are indecisive and hate confrontation.

Olly was eager to learn, but his weakness was that he was convinced he was doing the right thing – without weighing his options or confronting Jon Snow himself. He represents the worst of this sign, but also shows a desire for justice.

5 Scorpio – Alliser Thorne

This sign is brave, passionate, and stubborn. They can be a bit secretive and distrusting, but they are assertive people that make great leaders. They are also very high in emotions.

This character was the villain of the Night’s Watch, but he’s certainly also a Scorpio. This isn’t a bad thing for members of this sign, but he represents all the good and the bad of it. From being arrogant to being strung with anger, this hard-headed character definitely became a leader.
