Genshin Impact 23 Biggest Leaks Whats Rumored & Confirmed

Genshin Impact 2.3 is arriving later this month, which means that leaks and rumors about the upcoming patch have begun to circulate online. Despite various efforts by developer miHoYo, Genshin Impact leaks are still being shared about future content for the game. There are a variety of leaks and rumors coming out about Genshin Impact 2.3 that suggest there will be an emphasis on the Geo element, though many of these alleged leaks have yet to be confirmed.

In September of this year, miHoYo launched an attempt to put an end to Genshin Impact leakers, which earned the title “Leakers Hunt Decree” in reference to the in-game Vision Hunt Decree. Initially, the company’s efforts seemed to have paid off, but two months later, quite a few of the game’s more prominent leakers are back at it. There has been quite a bit of contention within the Genshin Impact community over leaks, with some despising them as “spoilers” and others loving them for the hype they generate. Regardless of players’ feelings, these leaks are appearing online once again. While the majority have yet to be confirmed, there is a good amount of material that has been rumored for the Genshin Impact 2.3 update.

The first “leak” was released by miHoYo, itself. Another method the company has been using to try to circumvent leaks has been to announce upcoming characters a patch early. For Genshin Impact 2.3, miHoYo announced new characters Arataki Itto and Gorou. There had been a lot of discussion about Itto over the past few months, so his arrival was certainly anticipated. Arataki Itto is a 5-star Geo claymore user, and Gorou is a 4-star Geo archer. These two characters are expected to be on the same Banner. Thus far, Itto is the only confirmed 5-star character for the 2.3 update, which insinuates that the other limited Banner for the patch will go to a character rerun.

Genshin Impact 2.3 Character Leaks, World Bosses, & Banners

Arataki Itto will be getting his own World Boss, which will also be coming to the game in Genshin Impact 2.3. Beta leaks like those shared by blobileaks on Twitter have revealed that the new Geo boss called the Golden Wolflord will be arriving on 2.2’s Tsurumi Island. Like the other new enemy type on the island, the Wolflord will essentially be a very large Rifthound. Like its tiny cousins, the Golden Wolflord will also apply the corrosion effect to the party when it lands a successful hit, which drains HP from each character in the party and not just the one on the field. This World Boss will certainly be a new and exciting challenge for Genshin Impact players.

In regards to the potential character Banner rerun, there is a lot of speculation that the 5-star character will be Albedo. Albedo was added to Genshin Impact almost a year ago and hasn’t yet received a rerun. There is also a new sword released in Genshin Impact 2.3 that scales off of defense, as shown by UBatcha on Twitter, making it the perfect weapon for Albedo. This would make 2.3 an entirely Geo patch, and considering there hasn’t been a 5-star Geo banner since Zhongli’s rerun, it is well overdue. Itto will also be getting a signature 5-star weapon called the Gokadaiou Otogibanashi, according to Genshin Impact 2.3 leaks. The main stat for this claymore is DEF, and the substat increases Normal and Charged Attack damage based on DEF.

Genshin Impact 2.3 Leaks – New Artifacts & Limited-Time Events

New Artifacts in Genshin Impact have also been allegedly leaked for the update. The first set is called Divine Chorus, and it will be a Hydro set. The set stats, provided by Genshin Intel, are as follows: the two-piece Divine Chorus provides a 15% Healing Bonus, and the four-piece set generates a Healing Bubble that accumulates stacks as characters get healed. After three seconds, the Healing Bubble will burst, healing nearby characters and damaging enemies. There will also apparently be a new Geo Artifact set called Husk of Opulent Dreams. The set’s stats, also provided by Genshin Intel, are as follows: the two-piece set provides 30% DEF, and the four-piece set grants the on-field character’s Geo damage an extra 6% DEF and 6% Geo damage. This can stack up to four times.

One of the events that has been leaked for Genshin Impact 2.3 is called “Dust and Shadowed Snow,” which is supposed to take place in Dragonspine region. The gameplay for this event is quite varied, according to leaks. Players will be able to participate in combat training, agility training, and tracker training, as well as fight a new event boss and make a snowman.

The second event leaked so far for Genshin Impact’s 2.3 update is called “Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light,” which is allegedly a rerun of the 1.5 update’s Misty Dungeon. For this event, players will participate in different trials where they will only be able to use the trial characters provided for each round. For instance, during the Thundershock Trial players will need to choose from the Raiden Shogun, Tartaglia, Sucrose, Barbara, Xingqui, Beidou, and Kujou Sara. The list of available characters will change for each trial. The rewards for both of these expected events for Genshin Impact 2.3 have yet to be revealed.

Genshin Impact 2.3 Spiral Abyss Leaks & Rumors

The last major leak for the Genshin Impact 2.3 update is about the Spiral Abyss. According to leaks, this version of the Spiral Abyss seems to be a Geo version, which coincides perfectly with the all Geo patch mentioned above. During phase one, obtaining a shard from a Crystallize reaction will apply an 8% attack buff to the active character for ten seconds. This effect can stack a maximum of three times. Obtaining additional stacks after the maximum three stacks generates a shockwave.

During phase two, Charged Attacks deal 30% more damage and the stamina they consume is decreased by 50% when there is a Geo construct (i.e. Zhongli’s pillar) nearby. During phase three of Genshin Impact 2.3’s Spiral Abyss, when the active character deals elemental damage, a 10% damage buff is applied to the party for that particular element. They will gain an additional 10% buff every three seconds until they reach 100%. But be warned: using a different element will reset this buff.

For now, these are the biggest Genshin Impact 2.3 leaks. Given how often leaks turn out to be accurate, many of these are expected to arrive in the game, despite not being officially confirmed by miHoYo yet. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too much longer to find out, since Genshin Impact 2.3 releases later this month.
