In Genshin Impact’s new 1.1 update players will get four new characters to unlock as well as more new content. As a free-to-play adventure game, Genshin Impact relies on regular updates to keep players coming back for more. On top of the new characters, players will have a whole new questline to play as well, which should keep them busy for a bit.

Genshin Impact surprised gamers everywhere when it released last month. While the game had been in the works for a while, few were expecting Genshin Impact to be as impressive as it is. Before release, it was highly controversial because many felt that the game was a knockoff of the much more famous Breath of The Wild. Genshin Impact definitely takes some inspiration and concepts from the legendary Nintendo game, but many also feel that it does enough to set itself apart as well.

According to IGN, the 1.1 update will be coming on November 11th and will introduce a wealth of new content for players to check out. There are four brand new characters coming to the game, with two of them being five-star characters. On top of this, there is also a questline that is supposed to wrap up the Liyue chapter of the game, a two-week-long event called Unreconciled Stars, and a reputation system for each region that will allow players to earn rewards depending on their reputation level.

The four new characters are shaping up to add a lot of interesting variety to Genshin Impact. One of these characters is Childe, who is a Hydro archer that is also able to use up-close melee attacks, which no other character is capable of. The other 5-Star is Zhongli, who is a Geo pole-arm fighter that can use his elemental attacks to petrify his enemies. MiHoYo has yet to reveal details about 4-Star characters, Xinyan and Diona, but apparently, they will bring many interesting combat abilities to the game.

Genshin Impact was a complete surprise hit that no one could have predicted, but now it’s absolutely everywhere. In its first week alone Genshin Impact managed to make $60 million just from mobile, and people seem to be playing it just as much as they were then. This new update should keep current fans happy, and could possibly bring even more people to the world of Genshin Impact.
