Teenagers can be cruel in more ways than one, and that was highlighted immensely throughout this episode. As the situation reached a boiling point, Kurt had dealt with enough from being bullied by Karofsky and not feeling challenged in Glee Club, so he finds refuge when “spying” on the Warblers.

Another focal point was when members needed to cool down during make-out sessions, they would visualize Coach Shannon Beiste in inappropriate settings. resulting in expected hurt feelings, the male members of the Glee Club decided to apologize through song.
