Now that the next-generation of games are slowly making their way towards release, Godfall has made an official announcement stating the minimum and recommended specifications for its PC version.

The announcement was made via Godfall’s Twitter account, in which it tweeted an image detailing the necessary PC requirements for the game. As one might have expected, the operating system, processor, memory, and graphics were mentioned, with each of the aspects displaying the bare minimum specifications along with the recommended specifications for a satisfactory gameplay experience. Taking a look at the specifications, they seem to be a bit hefty, meaning that players who wish to give the game a try will have to upgrade their PCs in order to meet the requirements. PS5 fans will not have to worry since they will just need the console for the game to run.

The minimum requirements for Godfall need a Windows 10 operating system, an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel i5-6600 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and either an AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB) or NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 1060 (6 GB) graphics card. One interesting thing to note is that the minimum requirement for memory is 12 GB. The majority of modern games (with the exception of a select few) require a minimum of 8 GB of RAM. Seeing as how the game needs more than that, especially being a minimum requirement, it is a sign of what Godfall plans to bring to the table and what kind of game it aims to be as a next-generation installment. As such, fans who only have 8 GB of RAM on their PCs will have to upgrade.

Switching over to the recommended specifications, Godfall will require a Windows 10 operating system , an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel i7-8700 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and either an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8 GB) or NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 1080 Ti (11 GB) graphics card. It’s a good thing to keep in mind that these are the recommended specifications, meaning that if players are looking for a high quality gaming experience while having the game run at above-average settings, this is what they will need in their PCs. Additionally, the recommended specifications don’t mean that players with a less powerful PC will have to absolutely break their bank to meet the requirements – after all, that is what the minimum specifications are for.

Either way, Godfall aims to be a very beefy game if one was to judge it by its PC requirements. In return, this will give players the opportunity to upgrade their PCs to meet the minimum requirements unless they choose to go for the recommended specifications for better and more smooth gameplay. However, being the recommended settings, one may assume that the highest possible settings for everything will require an even more powerful PC with top-notch components and parts.

Godfall releases on November 12 on PC via the Epic Games Store and PS5.
