Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Halo Infinite brings many new features to the Halo series. Arguably, the biggest change Halo Infinite brings is its large open world. The open-world format changes the Halo formula of linear combat-based gameplay and adds more importance to exploration and traversal. Infinite’s open world has also given developers the opportunity to include many engaging side-objectives that reward players for exploring Zeta Halo.

Among the added side-objectives are High-Value Targets. These enemies serve as mini-boss battles, with each target requiring their own strategy and approach to elimination. Defeating each High-Value Target will reward players with a handful of Valor, which they can use to unlock new weapons and vehicles from the nearest FOB. Upon defeat, each HVT will also grant players access to their unique weapon variant. Among these targets, though, some present a bigger challenge than others.

15 Skimmer Alpha

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

The Skimmer Alpha is one of the easiest High-Value Targets in the game, and can be found in a cave just north of FOB Juliet on Zeta Halo’s 4th Island. This High-Value Target has low health and is easy to take out from a distance. The most difficult part of the fight is the squad of Skimmers surrounding the Alpha, which can overwhelm players quickly. However, they can be easily handled from a distance.

The Skimmer Alpha will give players access to the Purging Shock Rifle, which will do stun damage to enemies. The Purging Shock Rifle is even better than the standard Shock Rifle, which is already effective against enemies with large shields.

14 Writh Kul

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Writh Kul is a strategic mastermind among the Banished, who can be found on the lone mountainous island between Islands 1 and 4. Writh Kul can be easily taken out from vantage points in the mountains above her. The mountains provide players with cover where they can snipe down at the enemies below. Coming in with a flying vehicle or upgraded grapple hook is esp[ecially useful.

Writh Kul uses the Pinpoint Needler, which has the ability to target multiple enemies at once. It has more effective targeting capabilities than the standard Needler variant.

13 Barroth

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Barroth is a skilled Banished sniper and can be a threat to players if they are spotted from a distance away. Barroth can be found southeast of Riven Gate on Island 4, and can easily be taken down from range with a flying vehicle. Keep in mind that Barroth can still target players in their vehicle, so players should make evasive movements if they want to avoid the target’s shots.

Barroth will give players access to the Stalker Rifle Ultra once defeated. This Stalker Rifle variant has a larger ammo capacity and is less likely to overheat than normal Stalker Rifles.

12 Bipbap

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Bipbap is not much of a threat to players, and can be found early in the game. Bipbap can be found directly to the north of the Excavation Site and will be surrounded by other Grunts and enemies. These opponents can all be taken out with ease at close-range or long-range.

Bipbap uses the Calcine Disruptor, which will do increased damage to those that are hit by it. Normal Disruptors do electric damage, which is great against enemies with shields. The Calcine Disruptor is especially effective against these enemies.

11 Briglard

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Briglard is a Grunt Mule that carries weapons on his back. Players will encounter this High-Value Target in the north of Island 1, where the bridge connects it to Island 2. This HVT is easily managed as he is surrounded by many other Grunts. The biggest threat with Briglard is that other enemies can use the guns on his back to attack the player; however, this isn’t usually an issue.

Defeating Briglard will grant players access to the Unbound Plasma Pistol, which will shoot three projectiles when fully charged as opposed to the normal Plasma Pistol’s single charged shot.

10 Thav ‘Sebarim

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Thav ‘Sebarim can be found to the south of FOB Bravo on Island 2. Thav ‘Sebarim is unique in the fact that when encountered, he will be in a vehicle, making him an easy target for players. With knowledge of his vehicle, players can bring power weapons like the Skewer or M41 SPNKR and take him out quickly.

Thav ‘Sebarim holds the Arcane Sentinel Beam, which will do more damage to enemies than the regular Sentinel Beam. The Sentinel Beam is useful in the Forerunner structures around Zeta Halo due to plentiful ammo, but they can be less useful in the open world.

9 Balkarus

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Balkarus can be found if players travel north from the Forge of Teash. Balkarus and the surrounding enemies are found in a large clearing, making them easy targets to weapons like Snipers and Stalker Rifles. Players shouldn’t have much trouble taking this HVT out from long-range.

Balkarus has the Riven Mangler. This weapon shoots three projectiles at once instead of a single projectile with regular Manglers. Manglers do high damage, especially when fired accurately, so they can be useful to have on hand.

8 Ik ‘Novus

Ik ‘Novus is a fearsome Brute Chieftan in the Banished. He can be difficult to take on due to his unique weapon, which causes massive damage to targets it makes contact with. Ik ‘Novus can be found to the west of FOB Echo shortly after arriving on Island 2.

Ik ‘Novus has the unique Volatile Skewer. The Skewer is already one of the best guns in Halo Infinite due to its high damage and effectiveness against enemy vehicles. The Volatile Skewer adds explosive damage to the weapon’s projectiles, causing even more destruction.

7 Okro ‘Vagaduun

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Okro ‘Vagaduun is one of the first High-Value Targets players will encounter, but that does not mean he is easy to defeat. Okro ‘Vagaduun wields an Energy Sword and has active camo, which make a one-on-one fight difficult. There are also other enemies that spawn in the area, making the fight even more difficult for players He can be found along the southwest coast of Island 1.

Okro ‘Vagaduun wields the Duelist Energy Sword, which allows the user to jump higher and move quicker while holding the weapon. Energy Swords are already powerful weapons in Halo Infinite, and the Duelist Energy Sword is even better than most.

6 Inka ‘Saham

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Inka ‘Saham is found far to the north of Island 2 on the small island on its own. The closest fast-travel point is Outpost Tremonius, so players will have to do a bit of traveling to get to Inka ‘Saham. Inka will be surrounded by many enemies and will often jump into a turret to fight the player. Players can target the turret while he is shooting to do more damage, but the turret also deals massive damage to players. There’s a lot to watch out for in this fight.

5 Arthoc

Arthoc can be found to the west of FOB November on Island 4. This enemy has a unique weapon that makes him a real threat to players in vehicles or on foot. He can do considerable damage at any range, making him equally dangerous no matter how the player approaches him.

The Ravager Rebound, Arthoc’s unique weapon, is a Ravager with the ability to have its projectiles bounce off any the surface they hit when fired at enemies. Players would be wise to take on Arthoc from a distance, to ensure any projectile has a harder time making contact with the player.

4 Odro ‘Mal

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Ordo ‘Mal is found north of FOB Hotel. This target will be found driving a vehicle, an armored Wraith, which can make him both an easier target and a more deadly one. At high difficulty settings, a single hit from Ordo ‘Mal’s Wraith blast can take a player out, so players should be sure to approach carefully.

Ordo ‘Mal’s unique weapon is the Scatterbound Heatwave. This Heatwave variant’s projectiles can bounce off of the surfaces they hit and track enemy targets.

3 Zeretus

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

Zeretus can be a serious threat to players, and is found northwest of FOB November. Players approaching on foot should be wary enough, but players in a vehicle should be especially careful, as Zeretus’ unique weapon can track targets.

Zeretus’ M41 Tracker is a powerful version of the M41 SPNKR that can track enemy targets and vehicles, doing massive damage on impact. This makes him very dangerous to take on, but players will have the ability to requisition this powerful weapon after he is defeated.

2 En ‘Geddon

Halo Infinite All HighValue Targets Ranked By Difficulty

En ‘Geddon will be found to the west of FOB Hotel. He wields a unique Gravity Hammer and can be very difficult to take on, whether in a vehicle or on foot. En ‘Geddon will also be surrounded by many other enemies that can cause problems for players taking him on.

En ‘Geddon has a unique Gravity Hammer called the Rushdown Hammer. It will allow the user to jump higher and move faster and deal massive damage to enemies on impact. The Hammer can even take on enemy vehicles if used correctly.

1 Myriad

Myriad is one of the most fearsome enemies in Halo Infinite. Myriad, a bonded pair of Hunters, can lob projectiles and shoot beams at players that deal enormous amounts of damage. Myriad’s hits can even take players out in only a couple of hits on higher difficulties. This menacing pair can be found to the south of FOB Juliet.

The Backdraft Cindershot, Myriad’s unique weapon, can shoot multiple projectiles as opposed to the standard Cindershot’s single projectile. This allows the weapon to have almost an area of effect damage to enemies hit by its shots.

Halo Infinite was released on December 8th, 2021, and is available for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
