A YouTuber has shared what’s thought to be the first unboxing video of the new Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition console, which is set to launch on November 15. The Halo Xbox console was first announced in August and comes bundled with the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller.

The limited-edition Halo console doesn’t just celebrate the upcoming release of Halo Infinite, but also 20 years of the Halo franchise. Paying homage to previous games in the shooter series, the Xbox Series X is inspired by the games’ universe, featuring dark metallic paneling and iridium gold detailing. The console also features a custom star pattern, seen from the surface of Zeta Halo, while its top vent is a Cortana-blue color. Designed to match, the Elite Series 2 controller features a similar design and a 20-year mark on its back. The breathtaking console has been a must-have for many fans but, as seen with the standard Xbox Series X, scalpers were quick to acquire stock of the Halo console following its announcement.

YouTuber HugoTheKing077 has shared a detailed look at the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition console (via WindowsCentral), showing off the Xbox’s unique features. The console’s design is just as striking as expected, but also includes additional Halo details as well. Seen around the 14:11 mark in the video below, HugoTheKing reveals the console’s custom Halo sounds heard when turning the console on, while another video from HugoTheKing077 shows off another custom sound for disk ejection, heard around the 10:12 mark.

The Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition console looks just as impressive in the unboxing video as in the official images from Microsoft, but sadly, fans will struggle to acquire one. The console has sold out in minutes each time pre-orders have gone live, with many thought to have been acquired by console resellers. As a limited edition console, Xbox is unlikely to restock the Halo Xbox Series X, meaning those who haven’t successfully pre-ordered the release will only be able to find one by purchasing from third parties, which will likely mean a high mark-up in price.

Halo Infinite is set to become one of the biggest game launches of the year, with developer 343 Industries planning to supplement its release with post-launch content. Players were dismayed to learn Halo Infinite will come without fan-favorite modes such as Forge, though the developer has promised Forge and more will be coming in time. Other upcoming additions will include ray-tracing, as well as campaign co-op, both of which won’t be ready for the release of Halo Infinite.
