The Master Chief is an imposing figure in the Halo universe, but even he is dwarfed by Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu, as seen in a resurfaced meme showing off the characters’ heights. Fans of the Halo series have been enjoying the recent release of the Halo Infinite campaign, which finally launched earlier this December, with many new fans now experiencing their first Master Chief adventure.

Halo fans have been patiently waiting for the launch of Infinite, which was originally set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X in 2020. The game was delayed following criticism of its graphics, something that has proven to be a worthwhile decision. As well as having the Halo Infinite multiplayer, which released as a free-to-play component last month, players now have the story campaign too. The recent release of Halo Infinite has prompted a classic Master Chief meme to once again make the rounds on social media. The image, originally created by artists kawaiiblendrart and glitch597O, shows Resident Evil Village’s tall antagonist Lady Dimitrescu threatening the Chief, highlighting how short he is by comparison. Twitter user GameGeniPrime has revived the classic fan rendering for those who might have missed it around the time of Resident Evil Village’s release earlier this year, and the image has yet again been met with praise from fans.

Standing at about 9″6 in her base human form, Lady Dimitrescu is a towering threat to Resident Evil Village protagonist Ethan Winters, and is just as intimidating to Master Chief. For reference, the Chief is said to be roughly seven feet tall while fully dressed in his iconic Mjolnir armor, and easily towers over most other humans during the Halo series. This makes his tiny appearance next to Lady Dimitrescu all the more stunning and sells just how massive the demonic duchess really is, though some creative liberty has been taken to make the Chief appear perhaps slightly smaller than his canon height.

Lady Dimitrescu has been measured up against Master Chief before, but seeing her hold the tank-like Spartan in her hands really punctuates just how intimidating Resident Evil Village’s towering femme fatale truly is. Hopefully, the Master Chief never finds himself trapped in Lady Dimitrescu’s castle lair, as the gothic mutant aristocrat could be a considerable threat for even the solider who nigh-single-handily brought down the Convenient and the Flood throughout the Halo series.
