How Many Of The 100 Are Still Alive In Season 7

After six seasons and many deaths along the way, a lot of the original characters that made up the titular 100 haven’t survived going into The 100 season 7. The original 100 characters (called “the hundred”, not “the one hundred”) were juvenile delinquents considered expendable at the start of the story.

In The 100 series premiere, The Ark was still considered the last remnant of humanity – and so, drastic measures were taken to make sure those aboard it would survive. When resources were running low, one hundred prisoners, all of which were minors, were sent down to Earth. While the pressing need was to conserve the remaining resources, it also served as a test to see if Earth was habitable for human life again. It was, and so the story of The 100 advanced, beginning with how those kids survived on the ground.

As time has passed, anywhere from four to 38 of the delinquents have survived on The 100. There’s some uncertainty, as not all of them were ever introduced as characters. While many of the main characters early on were members of the 100, that’s far too many to introduce everyone, leaving some as just names or pictures. This also doesn’t include Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) or Raven Reyes (Lindsey Morgan), since neither were part of the 100, despite being important characters of around the same age who have been around since the beginning.

The Known Survivors of The 100

How Many Of The 100 Are Still Alive In Season 7

There are currently four characters from the original hundred who are still alive: Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor), Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos), John Murphy (Richard Harmon), and Nathan Miller (Jarod Joseph). The first two were series regulars from the start; Murphy became a regular in season 3, and Miller has been a recurring character since late in season 1.

While most of the regular cast of characters were part of the 100 early in the show, that changed a lot over time as there was less emphasis put on their roles. While they were important for the first two seasons, by the beginning of season 3, the delinquents and the survivors from the Ark crashing had more or less integrated as a single group, the Sky People. Fewer characters were introduced as explicitly part of the original hundred, which is unlikely to change in the last season.

Other Possible Survivors of The 100

Going beyond the regular and recurring characters is where things get more hazy. Not all of the delinquents were introduced or even listed, making it difficult to know exactly how many are left. There have been 62 confirmed dead along with the aforementioned four, leaving up to 34 people that could still be alive.

There are some names and even pictures associated with delinquents that were never characters in the show. The most notable are Tim Bartlett, Kath Colonna, Jill Yaworski, and Lisa Warren. Pictures of all four of them appeared on screens in season 1 and were on Clarke’s list of who to spare in season 4, making it likely that they would have survived at least through the end of that season, if not further. But overall, only four of the original 100 characters still remain active in the story of The 100.
