How to Find Brood Mother in Borderlands 3 (Legendary Hunt)

Players who are taking part in the legendary hunts of Borderlands 3 may be struggling to find the Brood Mother, and they shouldn’t worry as it is a very common issue. Not only is the location of the Brood Mother extremely obscure, but even when players arrive at her spawn point, she only has a 25% chance of spawning. This can cause a great deal of confusion and frustration as none of the other legendary hunt creatures work this way.

This trypophobia horror is a creature that lives on the last planet to become available to players called Nekrotafeya. Not only does it live on the last planet, but the map it is in The Pyre of Stars restricts players from accessing the fight with her without either scaling walls or making their way around the entirety of the map. Either choice won’t be easy.

How to Find the Brood Mother in Borderlands 3’s Legendary Hunts

For players who decide to make their way around the map, they will have to make their way through several different areas and enemies. This includes the Control Console, The Devil’s Key, All-Hearth, Hallowed Shame, Eden-6 Pedestal, Barren Divide, and Wet Well. Then follow back into the last cave-like section off to the left to find the Brood Mother. If she doesn’t spawn players can either quit the game and reopen it or leave the map and climb back through from the last spawn point within it.

The Control Console is the main entrance of the map. The enemies here are sporadic, so players should be able to simply run past them. After passing the first statue stay left and head through the archway to enter The Devil’s Key. Run through the open puddle-filled corridor to reach the All-Hearth through the next archway. Wraiths will spawn in front of the player, so take another sharp left across the bridge adorned with red glowing bird-like sculptures. Race through the next long corridor full of strange stones and sculptures that are jutting out of the ground and try to avoid the enemies spawning out of them.

Through the next archway are even more wraiths and a set pedestals just varied enough in height that the player should be able to jump up and across them to reach the entrance to Hallowed Shame. Hallowed Shame exists as another long area of scattered platforms, where enemies will spawn like rain down from the ceiling. Head through and use the jump pad to make it to the Ammo Dump near the next statue at the entrance of Eden-6 Pedestal. Keep left here and use the next jump pad to fly across the empty space of the map to the Barren Divide.

Barren Divide will have more common enemies alongside the giant cube-like stone stalagmites and stalactites. After making the way through this area and its enemies, players will use another jump pad leading to more area that looks the same. Follow the path into a diamond-shaped red archway. This leads into the Wet Well. Run between the two statues facing one another and past more varied enemies. Keep right this time through another archway leading to a glowing red cave system. Head through the second archway blocked by more wraiths before keeping left once more. Head through the final diamond-shaped arch into further cave systems, and look for an opening on the left. This will open out into the area that the Brood Mother will spawn.
