How to Obtain Geo Sigils in Genshin Impact

Geo Sigils are a form of currency in Genshin Impact that allows players to purchase items from the Liyue gift shop. The gift shop sells rare ascension materials, powerful weapon prototypes, and other miscellaneous items, but they can only be purchased if the player has enough Geo Sigils. Unlike Mora or Primogems, there are only a couple of ways players can acquire Geo Sigils.

Players will need to collect a lot of Geo Sigils if they want to make ascending their characters and weapons a lot easier. While ascension materials can be obtained from dungeons or boss fights, it is a lot easier to buy the required materials directly from the Liyue gift shop. Plus, the Liyue gift shop is the only way players can obtain a variety of powerful prototype weapons. Since players will need a large amount of Geo Sigils, this guide will teach players where and how to find them.

Obtaining Anemo Sigils In Genshin Impact

There are only two methods of obtaining Geo Sigils which makes it both easier and harder to obtain a large amount of them. While Genshin Impact players have fewer tasks to focus on to acquire Geo Sigils, the more sigils they collect the harder they are to find. The first method of obtaining Geo Sigils is by turning in Geoculus crystals to the Geo Statue of the Seven. Each time the player levels up the statue they will be rewarded with Geo Sigils. However, the more the statue’s level increases the more Geoculus crystals are required to reach the next level. Also, there are only ten levels (130 Anemoculus), and after those ten levels are completed the player won’t be able to obtain Geo Sigils from that statue anymore.

The second method of obtaining Geo Sigils is by opening chests in Liyue. While sigils aren’t guaranteed to drop every time a player opens a chest, this is the most reliable method of obtaining Geo Sigils. There are a set number of chests available for players to open per day, but they reset the next day making chest opening the best way to obtain Geo Sigils. It is important to note that only chests located in the continent of Liyue will produce Geo Sigils. Chests in Mondstadt will produce Anemo Sigils which can only be used at the Mondstadt gift shop. In short, opening chests and offering Geoculus crystals are the only way to obtain Geo Sigils.
