Hulu’s Love, Victor cast features a promising young lead surrounded by a mix of seasoned actors and newcomers. The series, created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, was inspired by the hit LGBTQ+ romantic comedy Love, Simon. In fact, the show is set in the same universe, allowing for some key crossovers.
Like the predecessor, Love, Victor follows a teenage boy named Victor who is struggling with his identity due to the fact that he’s gay. Not only is he dealing with his sexual orientation, but his family also moves to a new town. Thankfully, for Victor, an alum for his school went through something similar so he reaches out for advice.
Love, Victor was initially developed for Disney+ before it moved to Hulu. The series even moved up its premiere date a few days out of respect for Juneteenth. Fans of the original movie will surely be elated that there are a few cameos mixed in with the new cast.
Michael Cimino As Victor Salazar
Michael Cimino stars as the titular character, Victor Salazar. On top of being the new kid at school, the teen is struggling with his sexual orientation. After difficulties with his journey in self-discovery, Victor reaches out to Simon Spier, the central figure in 2018’s Love, Simon. Before acquiring the lead of the Hulu series, Cimino’s biggest role to date came in 2019 with Annabelle Comes Home.
Rachel Naomi Hilson As Mia Brooks
Rachel Naomi Hilson plays the role of Mia Brooks, a student at Creekwood High School. She becomes a quick friend of Victor’s and a love interest for a portion of the season. Hilson is best recognized for her role in This Is Us as well as Rise and The Good Wife.
George Sear As Benjamin “Benji” Campbell
George Sear portrays Benji Campbell in Love, Victor. Benji is a charming classmate at Creekwood who happens to be gay. Victor notices Benji’s confidence and eventually develops a crush on him. The actor previously worked on TV shows such as Alex Rider, Into the Badlands, Will, and The Evermoor Chronicles.
Anthony Turpel As Felix Weste
Anthony Turpel appears as Felix Weste, Victor’s awkward, new neighbor. Felix is a bit outgoing but his personality often drives people away. When his peers take the time to get to know Felix, they realize he’s truly a good person. Turpel is best known for his work in No Good Nick, 9-1-1, and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Characters From Love, Simon
Nick Robinson as Simon Spier: The star of Love, Simon reprises his role as the show’s narrator. He also appears in person for a quick cameo. Aside from the rom-com, Robinson is best known for his work in Everything, Everything, The 5th Wave, and Jurassic World.
Keiynan Lonsdale as Abraham “Bram” Greenfeld: Simon’s love interest returns, revealing that the pair are still dating. Lonsdale’s other notable roles include Wally West on The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow in addition to parts in The Divergent Series: Insurgent and The Finest Hours.
Natasha Rothwell as Ms. Albright: The drama teacher from Love, Simon now works as Creekwood High’s Vice Principal. Rothwell’s most memorable work stems from HBO’s Insecure, Like a Boss, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Mason Gooding As Andrew: Creekwood’s cocky and popular jock. The son of Cuba Gooding Jr. recently appeared in Star Trek: Picard, Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, Ballers, and the comedy film, Booksmart.
Bebe Wood as Lake Meriwether: Mia’s best friend who is obsessed with social media. Wood previously worked on Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, The Real O’Neals, and The New Normal.
Ana Ortiz as Isabel Salazar: Victor’s mother and wife of Armando. Ortiz is best known for her roles in Whiskey Cavalier, Devious Maids, and Ugly Betty.
James Martinez as Armando Salazar: Victor’s blue-collar father and husband of Isabel. Some of Martinez’s biggest roles came from The Deuce, One Day at a Time, House of Cards, and Gravity.
Isabella Ferreira as Pilar Salazar: Victor’s younger sister. Before Love, Victor, Ferreira worked on Orange Is the New Black.
Mateo Fernandez as Adrian Salazar: Victor’s little brother and the youngest member of the Salazar family. The Hulu series marks the first role for Fernandez.
Sophia Bush as Veronica: The girlfriend of Mia’s father who runs a nonprofit for women. Bush is known for playing Erin Lindsay on Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med as well as her work in One Tree Hill.
Lukas Gage as Derek: Benji’s ex-boyfriend. Gage recently appeared in Euphoria, Class of Lies, and American Vandal.
