Kaley Cuoco is most known for playing Penny on The Big Bang Theory, but she has appeared in other great, and not so great, titles according to IMDb.

Known almost exclusively for her hugely successful and widely-loved portrayal of Penny in The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco has attained a Hollywood Walk Of Fame star and became one of the highest-paid actresses in the world during her time on the much-loved sitcom.

Despite what she may or may not be known for, Cuoco has still managed to rack up some appearances elsewhere on television and film since her teenage years in the 1990s. She has just over sixty acting credits according to her filmography, some of which are better than others according to IMDb.

10 BEST: The Wedding Ringer (6.6)

We can let Kaley Cuoco off a little bit with this one. On the surface, her fifth highest-rated major role has indeed just landed a score of 6.6.

The Wedding Ringer isn’t a very good film and wasn’t very well-reviewed, but at the same time, Kaley has spent a large portion of her career in the same role, not giving her much time to expand her filmography. She’s actually quite good as Gretchen in this film anyway.

9 WORST: Killer Movie (4.5)

Any film that has a word and then the word ‘movie’ is doomed to fail. Whether it was Scary Movie or Epic Movie or, more terrifying still, Emoji Movie, they’re all pretty bad, right? Well, Killer Movie is much the same: a very poorly received comedy-slasher starring Cuoco as a controversial celebrity.

8 BEST: Charmed (7.1)

One of Cuoco’s breakout roles, before she landed her most well-known spot on The Big Bang Theory, was as Billie on Charmed.

She was introduced as a novice witch at the start of season eight, with some critics thinking she helped to rejuvenate the show, even if some heavily criticized her acting.

7 WORST: Authors Anonymous (4.3)

It might have Jonathan Banks from Breaking Bad on hand to inject a bit of cool old man class, but Authors Anonymous simply doesn’t work, with its 4.3 average reflecting that. Cuoco landed the lead role in this 2014, but it certainly isn’t a shining beacon on quality in her filmography.

6 BEST: The Big Bang Theory (8.1)

Of course, this show was bound to make an appearance at some point. It’s what teleported Cuoco from small, often unappreciated bit parts into an actress known around the world for playing a very well-loved character.

Her role as the (at first) unintelligent, simple-minded Penny was great throughout, with the development of the character into a smart, kind and understanding member of the group was top class. The Big Band Theory was nominated for several Golden Globes and Prime Time Emmy Awards throughout its twelve seasons, so this was no doubt one of the highlights of Cuoco’s career.

5 WORST: Cougar Club (4.1)

A couple of years before Cuoco was able to break her way into the worldwide acting circuit, she played a small part in Cougar Club, a film about having sex with cougars. Somehow, the film managed to attract the likes of Carrie Fisher and Faye Dunaway to portray these titular cougars, but as a whole, the film had a very poor response.

4 BEST: Prison Break (8.3)

Anyone who was desperately trying to catch up with Prison Break many years late before season five aired was probably pretty confused when they saw Penny from The Big Bang Theory crop up in one season two episode.

She has a small part as Sasha Murray, a teenager who asks a very confused Haywire to buy her beer before he kills her father for being abusive. It’s pretty dramatic, but she plays the role very well, and very differently to that of Penny.

3 WORST: The Penthouse (3.6)

Cuoco plays Erica Roc in what can only be described as ‘sex-comedy’ The Penthouse. Despite a $3 million budget, the film failed to achieve anything close to entertainment and has been universally and unequivocally panned by all who have viewed it.

2 BEST: Harley Quinn (8.4)

Following The Big Bang Theory, Cuoco has unlocked a whole new realm of roles her skills can attain. She stars as the voice of titular Harley Quinn, an incredibly important character from the DC Franchise, who frequently appears opposite Batman and The Joker.

Considering the real-life face of the character is Margot Robbie, Cuoco has landed a seriously impressive gig here, and her performance has been praised.

1 WORST: Bratz (3.0)

People of a certain age will probably remember the Bratz dolls. They were a line of toys aimed at girls, providing some really terrible messages to do with being intentionally unintelligent and viewing vanity as one of the most important traits a girl can have. Not a good message, but the show was even worse. Cuoco landed a role in the 2005-2006 show, and its horrifyingly bad 3.0 average reflects its horrifyingly poor quality.
