Konosuba: 10 Anime Characters More Useless Than Aqua

For a character with so many powerful abilities, Aqua is pretty useless most if the time. But these anime characters are much worse.

Aqua isn’t exactly the type of party member you should want on your team. Aqua has a tendency for either being completely useless or way to good at her class. This is shown in Konosuba when she summons a flood that destroys part of the town. Aqua also has extremely low intelligence and link. She often ends up using her skill points on party tricks. Instead of fighting some battles, she simply passes out cups of water. Ther are quite a few characters who are even more useless than Aqua, though, some of which never really end up redeeming themselves in their series.

10 Tuxedo Mask

Tuxedo Mask gets kidnapped several times throughout the series and is pretty much a safety hazard. He doesn’t really have any powers, and the most he does for the team is create small distractions. In the final season, he even ends up getting abducted for the whole season and gets replaced with Seiya.

Sailor Moon is full of powerful characters, but Tuxedo Mask isn’t one of them.

9 Yajirobe

Yajirobe is a character that is often forgotten about by Dragonball fans. Yajirobe pretty much spends his time hiding at a safe distance from any major battles, and then claims that he was there. He probably couldn’t fight even if he needed to and is just a hindrance to the rest of the Z Fighters.

Yajirobe is far more useless than Aqua could ever dream of being.

8 Yuki Cross

Yuki is a pretty useless female protagnist as she chases after Kaname for most of the series. Zero, her brother, finds this to be quite annoying as vampires are known for killing humans. Yuki doesn’t do much in the anime series, and pretty much just goes with the flow in the manga.

Yuki has very little personality and honestly makes one of the worst romance choices in Shoujo history, picking both men.

7 Ash Ketchum

Ash would bring Kazuma more annoyance than Aqua ever could. Ash doesn’t exactly understand how to be a good trainer. He let his Butterfree go, leaving an open spot on his team and left Charizard, his best fighter in a resort for the species. He even tried to get Pikachu to leave him at one point.

It’s not surprising he has only won one Leauge, he is honestly a pretty terrible trainer.

6 Yukiteru Amano

Yuki is pretty much a bigger crybaby than Aqua could ever be. Yuki is placed in the middle of a killing game, and instead of really trying to preserve himself or get stronger, he simply gets depressed and cries. The only chance Yuki has at living is relying on his crazy girlfriend Yuno to save him.

Aqua, at the very least, will try to defend herself against danger.

5 Joey Wheeler

Joey Wheeler is Yugi’s bully turned best friend who honestly has a pretty shotty deck of cards. Joey never seems to learn to update his deck, which is strange when you think about the fact he duels alongside champions. Joey often has to rely on Yugi to save him, and many fans find his personality annoying.

Aqua has a much bigger fanbase than Joey could ever hope to have.

4 Misa Amane

If it wasn’t for Misa, then Light may have actually had a more solid chance at winning. Misa got a death note, and instead of using it like Light, she wanted to lure Kira out, because she decided she loved him. That is honestly one of the worst things you can do to a criminal in hiding.

The rest of the show also shows Light having to keep Misa close in order to keep his plans from falling apart.

3 Nina Einstein

Nina is a character from Code Geass who is pretty useless until she loses her mind. After meeting Euphemia, she becomes obsessed with the princess and develops a false sense of love. After learning she has been killed, she breaks down and begins to make a giant bomb to take down Zero.

This is one of the worst moves that could have been pulled by the character, and the fanbase hates her.

2 Myoga

Myoga is a decent advisor who never really helps the crew in Inuyasha all that much. Myoga spends his time nestled in Inuyasha’s hair, other than when a serious battle is going on. When a battle starts, chances are that Miyoga will run off to hide behind a rock where he will be safe.

He is one of the only cast members to never fight in the show.

1 Yuki Fan Club

The Yuki fan club is made up of arguably the most useless anime characters ever. In Fruits Basket, these girls follow Yuki Sohma around because they think he is attractive. Most of them have never even held an actual conversation with him and have a pact that no one girl should date him.

The fan club comes off as a weird cult that often annoys the main cast.
