LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was only released a few weeks ago, but fans of the game have already become incensed by several bugs that make decent portions of the game unplayable.

In recent days, the company has been trying to push excitement for its upcoming DLC on Twitter, but fans aren’t having it. Each tweet is inundated by messages from players demanding a fix to the current bug issues, many of which make gameplay tedious at best. The most prominent of these occurs in Episode 7, when players must speak with Maz in her castle to continue the plot. However, a major bug prevents players from continuing the mission from that point on.

Players pointed out that while the game’s official Twitter account continues to promote new and upcoming content, it has so far remained utterly mute about the glitch issues plaguing gamers. Though Maz’s Castle remains the most frequent, other issues mentioned include jet pack bugs, an Episode II Droid Factory glitch and Episode III High Ground level glitch. In particular, the level bugs have caused significant problems, as when they occur, the level gets erased from the game.

While LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s Twitter account hasn’t consoled fans or outright acknowledged the bugs, game developer TT Games did recently respond to one of the tweets. Its reply read, “Hey, We’re aware of this issue and our team is working on a fix. Please keep an eye on our social channels for any more updates, we thank you all for your patience. Thanks!” So far, no timeframe for an official fix has been stated. Unfortunately for both fans and the game, TT Games’ reply appears to have been buried underneath the onslaught of complaints.

The situation is similar to that of Marvel’s Avengers in the last few months. A patch delay after months without new content led to fans threatening to delete the game, which is already hampered by a troubled launch. When the patch was finally released, it caused severe glitches, making the PlayStation 5 version of Marvel’s Avengers completely unplayable. Crystal Dynamics’ subsequent solution to delete the game data led to a torrent of angry tweets from fans, pointing out how deleting their saved progress defeated the point of playing it. Twitter has seemingly become the place for gamers to air their frustrations, as Nintendo also received a similar reception when it announced its lackluster Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
