Liv Tyler was raised in the entertainment industry. She is the biological daughter of Aerosmith’s lead singer, Steven Tyler and model/musician, Bebe Buell, and is the adoptive daughter of musician Todd Rundgren. Liv Tyler began modeling professionally at the age of 14 and shifted into acting shortly after that.

Tyler’s career spans over thirty years and includes critically acclaimed films and films that garnered a massive fanbase for the actress both on the big screen in major features and on television. Most recently, it was announced that Liv Tyler would star in 9-1-1 Lonestar, a spin-off of Ryan Murphy’s successful procedural drama, 9-1-1.

This late 90’s scene fiction disaster movie is about a group of working-class deep-core drillers, sent by NASA to stop a massive asteroid headed straight for Earth. In this movie, Liv Tyler plays Grace Stamper, daughter to Harry Stamper, played by Bruce Willis.

One of those most iconic scenes from this movie happens between Grace and Harry as Grace says goodbye to her father, who must sacrifice himself to save the planet and all of humanity.

The Strangers is one of the most terrifying and suspenseful horror movies made in the last decade. This film was inspired by real-life horror stories like the Manson family murders and tells the story of a couple being stalked by three psychopaths who want to kill them, just because they can.

Liv Tyler plays Kristen and Scott Speedman plays James, the couple that find themselves in a brutal and gruesome fight for their lives.

The Incredible Hulk is based on the Hulk comics by Marvel. This film stars Edward Norton in the title role and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Bruce Banner’s former girlfriend.

Betty and Bruce were happy together until Bruce developed a condition that turned him into a giant, rage-filled green monster. The chemistry between Norton and Tyler made for the perfect love story and fans rooted for these two to end up together in the very end.

2019’s Ad Astra is a science fiction drama starring Brad Pitt, Ruth Negga, Tommy Lee Jones, and Liv Tyler. The story is about an astronaut, Roy McBride, played by Brad Pitt, who goes into space in search of his father, H. Clifford McBride, played by Tommy Lee Jones.

Roy sets out on a mission to find his father, who is presumed dead, and stop a project his father created twenty-nine years earlier, which is now threatening the entire solar system.

6 Robot & Frank (86%)

Robot & Frank is a science fiction dark comedy set in the future. It’s about a man, Frank, played by Frank Langella, who used to be a jewelry thief. His son gets him a domestic robot to assist him with things around the house, but Frank quickly realizes that this robot may be exactly what he needs to reinvent his career as a robber.

In this movie, Liv Tyler plays Madison, Frank’s daughter who is against him having this robot.

This supernatural mystery drama series ran for three seasons on HBO from 2014 to 2017. It is based on Tom Perrotta’s novel, by the same name, and Perrotta created the series adaptation along with Damon Lindelof.

The series begins three years after the fictional world event deemed the “Sudden Departure”, where 2% of the world’s population mysteriously disappeared. Liv Tyler plays Meg Abbott, who comes to lead a cult-like group of extremists called the Guilty Remanent.

This 2001 epic fantasy drama is the first installment in the trilogy franchise and is based on the first volume of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. The story takes place in Middle Earth and tells the story of the Dark Lord Sauron, played by Sala Baker, who is on a mission to obtain the One Ring. In the trilogy, Liv Tyler plays Arwen Undomiel, an elven princess and lover to Aragorn, played by Viggo Mortensen.

2 That Thing You Do! (93%)

That Thing You Do! is a musical comedy feature film written and directed by, and also starring Tom Hanks. This film tells the story of the fictional 60’s band, “The Wonders” and their rise to fame with their one-hit wonder, “That Thing You Do”.

In the film, Liv Tyler plays the very charming and sweet Faye Dolan, who is dating the band’s lead singer, Jimmy, until he lets fame go to his head and Faye breaks it off with her high school sweetheart.

1 The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (95%)

This film is the second installment of the trilogy franchise and the highest rated on Rotten Tomatoes. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers picks up where the first film left off and has three separate storylines for the audience to follow.

This film, like the others in the franchise, received high praise for both critics and fans, and earned six Academy Award nominations, winning two of the awards for Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects.
