Marvel’s Avengers fans were given a roadmap back at Square Enix Presents, and since then, it has been updated with new details. The latest update gives fans further insight into when new Marvel’s Avengers content is coming, checking off some of the content that has already released.

With the Tachyon Anomaly event now finished, the section is marked as “launched” on the roadmap. The Red Room Takeover section has been updated, with a new image of Black Widow shown. It will officially launch on May 20, with Crystal Dynamics confirming that five different HARM rooms will be accessible. New hazards like Techno Lava will instantly kill heroes and enemies, while Red Lightning will give a buff to AIM enemies. There will also be a special layout for the rooms as well, with Yelena Belova changing the locations.

On May 20, Champion Levels will be joining the Red Room Takeover event. Meant to provide progression beyond level 50, the bonus levels will each provide a new skill point. The skill point can then be used to boost stats like damage, perk activation, and heroic charge rate. More MCU suits have also been promised, and based on the leaks for the game, fans can expect to see the Avengers: Endgame versions of Captain America and The Hulk coming to the game next. Next month’s new content has also been confirmed.

Previously, the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap has listed the Cosmic Cube Villain Sector for Summer. However, its launch window has now been set to June, with players able to take on Monica Rappaccini next month. As for multiplayer mega hives and omega level threat missions, Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that they are still being tested behind the scenes. However, no ETA on their arrival date has been provided, so these two additions could be coming anytime in 2021. There were also no updates on the ongoing improvements section, with Crystal Dynamics still working on gear, comics, and matchmaking.

As for the new patrol mode mission type, these are still scheduled for Summer. However, with the other sections of the roadmap each taking up a month, players can make the assumption that a July release date is planned for the Wasteland Patrol levels. The massive War for Wakanda expansion is also scheduled for Summer, with the date also not specified. Given the size of the DLC, though, it could come anywhere between August and December. Alongside Wakanda and Black Panther himself, it will add a new enemy faction, story campaign, and a power level increase.

It is also worth noting that MCU suit additions are now listed under every major section of the roadmap, confirming that they will continue to be released throughout 2021. Alongside every big update, it seems like fans can expect some movie-inspired skins in the marketplace.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
