When it comes to fast food mascots everybody knows the infamous red headed clown Ronald McDonald. Recognizable around the world, this burger loving jester may have become less prevalent over the years in McDonald’s marketing campaigns, but that has not made him any less of a celebrity. Despite international fame, younger generations may not realize that Ronald McDonald wasn’t McDonald’s only mascot. In fact, McDonald’s used to have a whole cast of characters that hung out with the clown man, and now, McDonald’s has announced a new set of Funko Pops to commemorate this colorful collection of mascots.

While there has been quite a list of strange McDonald’s characters, this Pop! collection focuses on five specifically. Most obvious is the Ronald Mcdonald figure, with the clown being the main face of the brand since his debut in 1963, although his original incarnation looked a bit different than the Ronald McDonald known around the world today. Luckily, the Funko figure is based on the most popular edition of Ronald McDonald that fans have known and loved since it became the standard in 2000.

Next up is the big purple loaf Grimace. First introduced in 1971 as a villain, Grimace was originally named the Evil Grimace, and was known for stealing milkshakes and sodas, but was reworked a year later into a lovable goofball good guy full of clumsy antics. His Funko Pop! captures his silly nature perfectly, with his expression encapsulating the oaf he is meant to be.

Debuting the same year as Grimace was another McDonald’s villain, much better known for his evil antics than: the Hamburglar. As if his name wasn’t a big enough give away, the Hamburglar is best known for, well, burglarizing hamburgers. His Pop! figure features him in full garb, hands at the side as if he is a superhero.

Also making his first appearance in 1971, the next McDonald’s Funko Pop! is a walking, talking McDonald’s meal; Mayor McCheese. Not quite as famous as Ronald, Mayor McCheese has a head made of McDonald’s signature cheese burger. With many Pops facing the complaint of looking similar to others, with similar stances and swapped heads, this figure blows that complaint away by being one of the most unique molds yet, although that comes as no surprise when his head is burger.

Mayor McCheese isn’t the only burger head to be receiving the Funko treatment either, as it appears his trusty police officer, Officer Big Mac, is getting a figure as well. Rather than a cheeseburger for a head, Officer Big Mac is the literal face of one of McDonald’s most famous meals, with a head made out of the Big Mac. This is where you can tell Funko truly put effort into the McDonald’s figures by looking at the differences in the details between him and Mayor McCheese. Rather than slapping the same head on different bodies with a different paint job, you can see that his head is actually a Big Mac, featuring sesame seeds on the bun and that extra layer of bread between the multiple patties, vs Mayor McCheese’s seedless bun and single layered patty.

Grabbing these Funkos will make anyone feel like they are getting a big kid happy meal. Unfortunately, the figures launched as part of a McDonald’s exclusive five pack of figures, and that pack has already sold out. But don’t fret – individual releases of each of the figures are still available through Entertainment Earth. Based on how fast the five packs sold out, collectors better act quick on snagging the individual McDonald Funko Pop! pre-orders.
