Marvel’s Secret Invasion show gets an amazing comic-style skrull logo. The upcoming Disney+ show will see the highly-anticipated return of Samuel L. Jackson as everyone’s favorite SHIELD agent, Nick Fury, alongside Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrulls’ shape-shifting leader, Talos, who were both last seen during Spider-Man: Far From Home’s end-credits scene. Secret Invasion’s cast also includes Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo in undisclosed roles, while Kingsley Ben-Adir is reportedly playing the lead villain.

From Mr. Robot alum Kyle Bradstreet as creator and head writer, Secret Invasion is based on the Marvel comic book crossover storyline of the same name from Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu. Like the comics, the MCU series centers on the shapeshifting alien race known as the Skrulls who have secretly invaded Earth over a long period. The limited series will be comprised of six episodes directed by Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim, which are expected to air sometime next year.

Now, in honor of the Disney+ Day event, Marvel Studios has officially unveiled a new logo for the upcoming MCU series, Secret Invasion. Fans of Marvel’s comics will immediately recognize the logo has been designed in a similar style to the one that has graced the cover of the comic series for years. This logo is also much more stylish than the one that was revealed along with the announcement of Secret Invasion during Disney Investor Day in December 2020. Check out the new logo below:

In conjunction with the new logo, Marvel also unveiled some Secret Invasion first-look footage of Jackson as Nick Fury, who is now older and eyepatch-less, which can only be seen on Disney+. Secret Invasion is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Marvel series that will be hitting the streaming service next year due to its inclusion of the longtime, fan-favorite MCU star, Jackson, along with a former Game of Thrones actress in Clarke and an Oscar and Emmy-Awarding winning star like Colman.

Other than its high-profile cast, fans are looking forward to the show for its potential as a crossover event. In the comics, the Skrulls infiltrate Earth and begin secretly masquerading as various superheroes. It’s unclear if the Disney+ show will adapt this element of the source material since the Skrulls have been depicted more as refugees than conquerors in the MCU. However, as evidenced by Far From Home, the Skrulls have no problem disguising themselves as familiar Marvel characters. This, along with the unveiling of the new logo, should continue building hype for Secret Invasion.
