My Hero Academia has so many interesting characters that it is common that some do not get as much screentime in the anime.

Note for editor: I wrote this article the replicate the little hero announcement/synopsis things they do often in the show.
My Hero Academia has a long list of characters all training to be professional heroes! Yet many of the coolest heroes in training barely get any screentime!
Each of these heroes are interesting enough that they could easily have their own branch-off series and are sure to come into play in later seasons fighting side by side with Izuku Midoriya as All for One’s influence on society deepens. Yet, for now, fans have to make do with their all too little amounts of screen time.
10 Itsuka Kendo
Class: 1B
Hero Name: Battle Fist
Quirk: Big Fist
This heavy-hitting hero in training has hands that get bigger when she attacks, the bigger the fist the stronger the attack! She’s the classic “mom” figure of class 1B and is the perfect balance of beauty, brain, and brawn with a startling low amount of screen time, under ten minutes! Yet, this talented hero and proven her worth time and time again even defeating the highly skilled Momo Yaoyorozu from class 1A. Fan’s of My Hero Academia are itching to see what she’s truly capable of on the field.
9 Fumikage Tokoyami
Class: 1A
Hero Name: Jet-Black Hero – Tsukuyomi
Quirk: Dark Shadow
Tokoyami’s got a shadowy monster inside of him that can materialize to crush his enemies, but the darker it gets the harder he is to control!
Little is known about this dark hero in training but his powerful quirk has led him to stand out as one of the top heroes in class 1A! Tokoyami has a screen time of close to 45 minutes, yet his training with the second-ranked hero may lead to much more time on the big screen which many fans will be more than okay with.
8 Mina Ashido
Class: 1A
Hero Name: Pinky
Quirk: Acid
This pink hero has an emitter quirk that excretes a corrosive acid from her body that can melt even metal! Her background in dancing gives her some crazy agility and reflexes that make her all too dangerous in close-quarter combat. Ashido has a screen time of near 45 minutes, yet fans of My Hero Academia can’t get enough of her upbeat and genuine personality! She’s also great at keeping secrets and is sure to come into play in later seasons of My Hero Academia as she has a history with Kirishima!
7 Hitoshi Shinzo
Class: 1C
Hero Name: Unknown
Quirk: Brainwashing
When an opponent answers his questions they become his puppet and do whatever he says! Shinzo has been training since season 1 to join the hero course at UA high school and has made great strides toward this goal. He has a voice modulator to help trick his opponents into answering him and has been working to build up his effectiveness in close-quarters combat!
Shinzo has had only two appearances in My Hero Academia so far but with the developments in season five of the anime fans are sure to be seeing much more of Shinzo!
6 Toru Hagakure
Class: 1A
Hero Name: Stealth Hero – Invisible Girl
Quirk: Invisibility
Hagakure’s quirk allows her to be completely invisible! This stealthy hero can also refract the light that travels through her body creating bright flashes to blind her opponents. Hagekure has a depressingly low screen time of around thirty minutes but fans are itching to know what she is truly capable of! Does she always have to be invisible? How does her quirk work exactly? What does she really look like? When will it be her time to shine?
5 Tsuyu Asui
Class: 1A
Hero Name: Rainy Season Hero – Froppy
Quirk: Frog
Asui’s quirk allows her to do pretty much anything a frog can, but that means she has the weaknesses of a frog as well! This high leaping, tongue-spitting hero is an all-around and well-balanced hero in training with a heart of gold. She has had a generous amount of screen time when compared to the rest of the heroes on this list but fans know next to nothing about her! Yet, she is a great addition to any team providing emotional support while being extremely adaptable to any situation, but please, call her Sue.
4 Mezo Shoji
Class: 1A
Hero Name: Tentacle Hero – Tentacole
Quirk: Dupli-Arms
Shoji is able to replicate various body parts on his tentacles and it’s super weird! This monster of a hero in training has a grip strength of 540 kilograms and is adept at reconnaissance. The question that has been asked before in the anime, yet never answered, is why does Shoji always wears that mask? Other than having some pretty awesome powers, not much is known about Shoji except that he has built quite a strong friendship with Tokoyami and thus will hopefully be getting more screen time than he has which is a whopping total of 7 minutes!
3 Kyoka Jiro
Class: 1A
Hero Name: Hearing Hero – Earphone Jack
Quirk: Earphone Jack
Kyoka Jiro uses two earphone jacks in her ears to plug into speakers on her legs to produce crazy sonic attacks from the sound of her own heartbeat! She can also use her earphone jacks to pick up on super quiet sounds. Jiro has a punk-type personality yet is often the conservative of the group in situations like when Momo shows a bit too much skin while using her quirk. Fan’s have gotten to see some backstory on Jiro and are excited for the possible love interest growing between her and Kaminari, but her action scenes are far too few for fans liking. Hopefully, fans will get to see more of Jiro and her instrumental genius!
2 Togaru Kamakiri
Class: 1B
Hero Name: Unknown
Quirk: Unknown
This lizard-looking hero in training sure looks super cool! Yet nothing is currently known about this sick-looking hero from class 1B. Yet he is almost guaranteed to finally get some real screen time in season 5 of the anime as he teams up with his classmates to battle class 1A! While spoilers are lame, fans will be interested in the fact that his quirk involves blades that can cut just about anything!
1 Neito Monoma
Class: 1B
Hero Name: Phantom Thief
Quirk: Copy
Monoma’s can copy the quirk of anyone he touches but only for ten minutes each! This highly versatile ability can come in handy in almost any situation, though he can operate more easily with a team around him. Monoma has a personality equivalent to a cactus, but his passion for wanting to be the best is sure to take him far. While this hero in training has merely 15 minutes of screen time, he is an important part of class 1B, as he constantly pushes his class to be the best he can be. Fans can’t help but wonder about his backstory and why he has such a strange personality.
