Storybrooke was filmed in the neighborhood of Steveston in Richmond, British Columbia. When visiting this area, fans can see where some of their favorite scenes were filmed and feel like they are walking through the same town where most of the show took place.

The exterior of the buildings, restaurants, and shops of Storybrooke locations like Granny’s Diner looks similar to what fans saw in the show, although the signage and names of the places are different. According to Richmond, British Columbia’s tourism website, there are also Once Upon A Time-themed food and drinks, shopping, and tours available.

Before Once Upon A Time, many of the actors starred in the groundbreaking TV series Lost. Elizabeth Mitchell, Emilie de Ravin, Rebecca Mader, Lana Parrilla, Jorge Garcia, and several others all played characters in Lost before playing new versions of fairy tale characters in Once Upon A Time. Watching Lost is a great way to see the range that many of these actors have.

Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis also worked on Lost as producers before becoming the showrunners for Once Upon A Time. From the Storybrooke clock tower being stuck at 8:15 to Jacinda working at Mr. Cluck’s Chicken Shack, Once Upon A Time is filled with secret Easter Eggs from Lost.
